ԱԳՆ-ն հայտարարություն է տարածել, որում, մասնավորապես, նշված է.

ԱԳՆ հայտարարության մեջ նշվում է․

«Մենք խստորեն դատապարտում ենք օգոստոսի 22-ին ադրբեջանական իրավազորության ներքո հայտնված սպա Գուրգեն Ալավերդյանի հանդեպ կիրառվող նվաստացնող վերաբերմունքը, ինչը միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքի բացահայտ և կոպիտ խախտում է:

Գուրգեն Ալավերդյանի արժանապատվության հրապարակային ոտնահարմամբ Ադրբեջանը մերժում է քաղաքակիրթ մարդկության կողմից հանրահռչակված՝ ռազմագերիների՝ «ցանկացած հանգամանքներում իրենց անձի և պատվի նկատմամբ հարգանքի իրավունքը», որն ամրագրված է Ժնևի III կոնվենցիայով: Նման գործելակերպը բնորոշ է տխրահռչակ ահաբեկչական խմբավորումներին և, ինչպես կարող ենք արձանագրել, նաև Ադրբեջանին:

Պարզունակ քարոզչության և հայատյացության հնարքներով սեփական ժողովրդին կերակրող Ադրբեջանի բռնապետական ռեժիմն իջել է այն մակարդակին, որ հուլիսյան մարտերում սեփական բանակի լուրջ անհաջողությունները կոծկում է ռազմագերուն պարտադրված շինծու տեքստերով:

Միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքի հանդեպ Ադրբեջանի արհամարհանքի մասին է վկայում նաև այն փաստը, որ Ադրբեջանն այն սակավաթիվ երկրներից է, որոնք հրաժարվում են վավերացրել Ժնևի կոնվենցիաներին կից բոլոր լրացուցիչ արձանագրությունները:

Ադրբեջանի կողմից միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքի շարունակական խախտումները լրջորեն խաթարում են խաղաղությանը նպաստող միջավայրի հաստատումը»:
