«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է․ «ՀՀ Սահմանադրական դատարանի դատավորի թեկնածու Երվանդ Խունդկարյանի շուրջ շարունակում են ուշագրավ զարգացումներ տեղի ունենալ:

Ինչպես հայտնի է, Խունդկարյանի հետ կապված Կոռուպցիայի կանխարգելման հանձնաժողովը բացասական խորհրդատվական կարծիք է տվել, ու կարելի է ասել, որ այն ազդելու է թեկնածուի ընտրության վրա խորհրդարանում: Ինչպես հայտնի է, ՍԴ դատավորների թեկնածուների հետ կապված ուսումնասիրություններ էր անցկացրել նաեւ ԱԺ պատգամավոր Արման Բաբաջանյանը: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը զրուցել է պատգամավոր Արման Բաբաջանյանի հետ՝ պարզելու համար, թե ինչ բացահայտումներ են սպասվում:

«Ես հիմնվել եմ առավելապես բաց աղբյուրների, հրապարակային փաստերի վրա, որոնք արդեն իսկ բավարար են նրա թեկնածությունը մերժելու համար։ Խունդկարյանի անունը կապվում է մեր երկրի ամենաաղմկոտ դատական գործերի հետ՝ սկսած Ա1+ հեռուստաընկերության փակման խայտառակ գործից մինչեւ տասնյակ քաղաքացիների ունեզրկում, Թեղուտում, Հայաստանում կատարված օտարերկրյա ներդրողների գործերի մերժում՝ պայմանավորված Սերժ Սարգսյանի եղբոր շահերի սպասարկման հանգամանքով, եւ այլն։

Այդ պատկերն ավելի ամբողջական է դարձնում այն փաստը, որ, որպես Վճռաբեկ դատարանի նախագահ, Երվանդ Խունդկարյանի կայացրած շուրջ մեկուկես տասնյակ վճիռներում Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանը ճանաչել է մարդու իրավունքների կոպտագույն խախտումներ, որոնց արդյունքում պետությունը վճարել է ավելի քան 300 հազար եվրոյի փոխհատուցում։ Շատ ավելի կարեւոր ու անդառնալի է այն վնասը, որ նա հասցրել է Հայաստանի հեղինակությանը», – նշեց Բաբաջանյանը»։
