Խնձորեսկում Սպարապետի օրվան նվիրված միջոցառումներին մասնակցող Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը վերջերս ադրբեջանական գերության մեջ հայտնված Ներքին Խնձորեսկ գյուղի բնակիչ Նարեկ Սարդարյանի կնոջ հարցին, թե ինչ նորություն կա իր ամուսնուց, քանի որ որևէ տեղեկություն չունի, պատասխանեց. «Ցավոք սրտի, ոչինչ չեմ կարող ասել, գիտեք՝ դժբախտաբար, ոչ թե բարեկամի մոտ է ընկել, այլ հակառակորդի: Պետք է հասկանանք, թե ինչ կարող ենք անել»...

Նախ, ուղղակի զավեշտ է այն, որ, ըստ Փաշինյանի, մեր զինվորականը կարող է հայտնվել բարեկամ երկրում գերության մեջ... Էլ ի՞նչ բարեկամ երկիր, եթե այդ երկիրը քո զինվորականին գողանում է կամ գերեվարում է, երբ վերջինս ենթադրաբար մոլորվել է... Սա դեռ անգրագետ մեկնաբանության ամենաանմեղ մասն է...

Զարմանալին այն է, որ իր կողմից կիրթ բնութագրված բարբարոս և հայատյաց Ադրբեջանի բռնապետ Իլհամ բաբան չի թաքցնում, որ հայերը, Հայաստանը և հայերի հետ կապված ամեն ինչը թշնամի են Բաքվի համար ու ադրբեջանական պետական մեքենան և քարոզչությունն այդ թեզն առաջ տանելով` ուղղակի վարակել է Ադրբեջանի հասարակությանը հակահայկականությունով... Իսկ մինչ մեր արևելյան հարևանի մոտ մոլեգնում է հայատյացությունը, մեր երկրի վարչապետը շատ նրբորեն է վերաբերվում ադրբեջանցիներին և վախենում է իրերը կոչել իրենց անուններով՝ որ Ադրբեջանը և ադրբեջանցիները մեր թշնամիներն են...

Հետաքրքիր է, իր վախվորած և իբրև թե նուրբ դիվանագիտական բնորոշումով ու՞մ և ի՞նչ է ուզում համոզել Նիկոլը... Միջազգային հանրություն կոչվածը Նիկոլի այս «ադրբեջանասիրությունը» չի էլ նկատի, իսկ Բաքվում այն կրկին կդիտարկվի որպես թուլություն...

Ի դեպ, մեր 5 զինվորականներին Բաքվի գերությունից ազատելու միակ միջոցը՝ որոշ ազերի ասկյարների «միամտաբար» և «մոլորության» արդյունքում մեզ մոտ հայտնվելն է...»:
