Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարար Զոհրաբ Մնացականյանը կարծում է, որ Թուրքիայի գործողությունները Կովկասում խաթարում են տարածաշրջանում խաղաղությանը և կայունությանն ուղղված ջանքերը: ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարը նման կարծիք է հայտնել Եգիպտոսի ԱԳ նախարար Սամեհ Շուքրիի հետ մամուլի ասուլիսի ընթացքում:

«Սքայ Նյուզ Արաբիյա»-ի լրագրողի հարցին ի պատասխան ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարն ընդգծել է, որ հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին հուլիսին տեղի ունեցած բախումների ժամանակ Թուրքիան միակ երկիրն էր, որը հանդես եկավ միակողմանի և շատ ագրեսիվ մոտեցմամբ. միակողմանի աջակցություն Ադրբեջանին, ագրեսիվ մոտեցում հասցեագրված Հայաստանին և հայ ժողովրդին, որն արտահայտվեց և հռետորաբանությամբ բոլոր մակարդակներում, և գործողություններով:

«Իհարկե, մենք ականատես ենք լինում իրենց կողմից ռազմական կուտակման փորձերի: Մենք տեղեկություններ ենք ստանում օտարերկրյա ահաբեկիչ զինյալների օգտագործման մասին, ովքեր տեղափոխվելու են Ադրբեջան կամ գուցե արդեն իսկ տեղափոխվել են: Մենք ականատես ենք լինում մեծ ռազմական ներկայության, ռազմական ամրապնդման: Այս ամենը հենց այն գործողություններն են, որոնք խաթարում են տարածաշրջանում խաղաղությանը և կայունությանն ուղղված ջանքերը: Մենք վճռական ենք մեր պաշտպանության մեջ և մենք վճռական ենք ժխտելու ուժի դրսևորման, ագրեսիվ և ապակայունացնող բնույթի ցանկացած քաղաքականություն, որը ուղղված է ազդեցության տարածման, որն իր էությամբ ագրեսիվ է և ապակայունացնող: Մենք ականատես ենք լինում ազդեցության տարածման այս քաղաքականությանն Արևելյան Միջերկրականից մինչև Հյուսիսային Աֆրիկա և Մերձավոր Արևելք, ինչպես նաև Հարավային Կովկաս: Նմանօրինակ քաղաքականությունը ամենևին էլ ողջունելի չէ»,- ասել է Մնացականյանը:
