Արցախի ժողովուրդը կանգնած է հումանիտար աղետի առաջ, քանի որ Ադրբեջանը կիրառում է արգելված տեսակի զենքեր, որոնք կարող են երկար տարիներ վտանգել քաղաքացիական բնակչության և հատկապես՝ երեխաների կյանքն ու առողջությունը: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին ասուլիսի ժամանակ ասաց Արցախի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արտակ Բեգլարյանը:

«Մենք կանգնած ենք հումանիտար աղետի առաջ։ Եվ Ստեփանակերտում, և մնացած բնակավայրերում կան հազարավոր, եթե ոչ տասնյակ հազարավոր չպայթած պայթուցիկ նյութեր, որոնք երկար տարիներ կարող են վտանգել քաղաքացիական բնակչության և հատկապես՝ երեխաների կյանքն ու առողջությունը:

Ես սա հատուկ կուզեի կարևորել, որովհետև ես ինքս 6 տարեկան հասակում վիրավորվել եմ ադրբեջանական ականի պայթյունից պատերազմից հետո և կորցրել եմ տեսողությունս։ Ինձ նման հարյուրավոր երեխաներ կորցրել են իրենց կյանքը կամ առողջությունը։ Ոչ միայն երեխաներ, սակայն նրանց շրջանում այդ դեպքերը շատ են եղել»,-նշեց Բեգլարյանը:

Արցախի ՄԻՊ-ի խոսքով՝ ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերը միտումնավոր են խիտ բնակեցված շրջաններում արգելված զինատեսակներ կիրառում, որպեսզի հումանիտար աղետի առջև կանգնեցնեն քաղաքացիական բնակչությանը:

«Այս առումով պետք է պատշաճ արձագանք և պատիժ լինի։ Միջազգային հանրությունը մեծ անելիք ունի հումանիտար այս աղետը օր առաջ դադարեցնելու ու կանխարգելելու ուղղությամբ, հատկապես այդ զինատեսակները և պայթուցիկ նյութերը մաքրելու ուղղությամբ »,-ասաց Բեգլարյանը:
