Կարծում եմ, որ դավաճանի հրաժարականն առաջին հերթին պետք է պահանջեն ոչ թե քաղաքական կուսակցություններն ու ուժերը, այլ ողջ ժողովուրդը։ Իշխանության տերը ժողովուրդն է։ Այս մասին գրառում է կատարել ՍԴ աշխատակազմի նախկին ղեկավար Էդգար Ղազարյանը:

«Ժողովուրդը պետք է միշտ տեր լինի իր իշխանությանը և երբեք չդառնա իշխանավորի գերին։ Ժողովուրդը պետք է միշտ ունակ լինի փոխել այն իշխանությունը, որը չի տանում իրեն հաղթանակի և հաջողության ճանապարհով։ Եթե պաշտոնյան պիտի հրաժարական տա, ապա էլ ո՞ր դեպքում, եթե ոչ դաժան պարտության, հազարավոր զոհերի, կորցրած տարածքների, մարդկանց ունեզրկման, նվաստացման և բարոյալքման։

Սիրելի հայրենակիցնե՛ր, եթե Դուք իսկապես Հայաստանի Հանրապետության, Արցախի Հանրապետության հպարտ և ազատ քաղաքացի եք, ապա դուք պետք է կանգնած լինեք յուրաքանչյուրդ ձեր այն նույն տեղում, որտեղ կանգնած եք այս նկարներում և պահանջեք մեր հպարտությունը նսեմացրած, մեր ազատությունը խլած դավաճանների հրաժարականը։ Նրանց իշխանության քաղաքական ուժերը չեն բերել, որ նրանք հեռացնեն։ Դուք եք բերել, դուք՝ պիտի հեռացնեք։

Եթե դա չանեք կդադարեք ժողովուրդ և քաղաքացի լինելուց, այլ կդառնաք սովորական ամբոխ՝ իշխանության կողմից գերեվարված։ Դուք 2018 թվականին փոխեցիք իշխանությունն այն վստահությամբ, որ դա կարող եք անել միշտ։ Եթե ոչ հիմա, ապա՝ երբեք։ Կարող եք չվստահել ոչ մի առաջնորդի, բայց ձեզ վստահեք ու ինքներդ ձեզ մի սպանեք։ Վերադարձեք ձեր հրապարակ, վերադարձրեք ձեր իշխանությունը, այն հիմա գողանում են ձեզանից»։
