«Պոլիտէկոնոմիա» հետազոտական ինստիտուտի ղեկավար Անդրանիկ Թևանյանը ֆեյսբուքյան «Պատերազմն՝ ընդդեմ բանակի․ Նիկոլը քանդեց պետականության հիմքերը» վերտառությամբ գրառում է արել, որում ասվում է․

«Բանակները, վերջին հաշվով, խաղաղության, այլ ոչ թե պատերազմի համար են։ Եթե բանակը պատերազմի մեջ է մտնում, նշանակում է իշխանությունը ձախողվել է պետականաշինության ու դիվանագիտության ոլորտում։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը դավաճանաբար կամ հիմարաբար մեր բանակին մտցրեց պատերազմի մեջ ու տարավ կապիտուլյացիայի։ Մինչև այդ տեղի էր ունեցել բանակի հետևողական վարկաբեկում, Արցախյան ազատամարտի արժեզրկում։

Նիկոլենք մեր բանակի դեմ թշնամական դիվերսիաներից առաջ տեղեկատվական դիվերսիա էին իրականացրել։ Դրա համար էլ պարտվեցինք։

Այսօր մեր բանակի օրն է, բայց տոն չկա։ Բանակին տարել են պարտության՝ քանդելով մեր պետականության հիմքերը։

Հայաստանի բոլոր պետական ինստիտուտները հետանկախական շրջանում ունեցել են լեգիտիմության կամ կայացվածության խնդիրներ, սակայն կասկածից դուրս է եղել բանակը։ Արկերի ու փամփուշտների տակ կերտված բանակը։ Հաղթանակած բանակը։

Բանակը մեր պետության լեգիտիմության աղբյուրն էր։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն իր թիմով ամեն ինչ արեց, որպեսզի Հայաստանի Հանրապետության լեգիտիմությունը կասկածի տակ դրվի ու Հայոց բանակը զրկվի մեր երկրի անվտանգության ապահովման թիվ մեկ երաշխավորը լինելու կարգավիճակից։

Այսօր մենք բանակի օր ենք նշում՝ արձանագրելով, որ մեր զինված ուժերն այլևս ՀՀ ու Արցախի անվտանգության երաշխավորը չեն։ Բանակն արդեն ինքն ունի պաշտպանության կարիք։ Այսօր ոչ թե տոնում, այլ սգում ենք բանակի օրը։

Մենք բանակի օրը կվերականգնենք ու հունվարի 28–ը տոն կդարձնենք միայն նոր որակի իշխանություն և պետություն կերտելուց հետո»։
