Ոստիկանները քիչ առաջ փորձեցին բռնի ուժով բերման ենթարկել Հայրենիքի փրկության շարժման համակարգող Իշխան Սաղաթելյանին, որը կառավարական 3-րդ մասնաշենքի մոտ միացել էր բողոքի ցույց իրականացնող քաղաքացիներին:
 
Սաղաթելյանը ոստիկանության գործողությունների հետևանքով մարմնական վնասվածքներ ստացավ: Սակայն նրան հաջողվեց հասնել ՀՅԴ գրասենյակ, որտեղ լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում հայտարարեց. «Ոստիկանությունը շարունակում է ծառայել այս հանցագործ խուժանին: Բոլորը հատ-հատ պատասխան են տալու: Ես խոստանում եմ՝ Նիկոլին օր ու արև չեմ տալու, նա չի մնալու իր աթոռին»:
 
Այնուհետև նա կոչ արեց քաղաքացիներին այսօր՝ ժամը 18:00-ին, հավաքվել Արամի արձանի մոտ:
 
Հիշեցնենք, որ մինչ այդ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը «Նիկոլ դավաճան» վանկարկումների ներքո և ոստիկանական բազմաթիվ ուժերի օժանդակությամբ մտավ կառավարական 3-րդ մասնաշենք, որից հետո ոստիկանները բռնի ուժով սկսեցին բերման ենթարկել բազմաթիվ քաղաքացիների:
Ոստիկանները բոլոր կողմերից շրջափակել էին նաև ՀՀԿ-ի գրասենյակը՝ խոչընդոտելով քաղաքացիների ելումուտը գրասենյակ:
Կառավարության շենքի տանիքին այսօր նույնիսկ դիպուկահարներ էին տեղակայվել:
