«Բարգավաճ Հայաստան» կուսակցության քաղաքական խորհուրդը հայտարարություն է տարածել՝ ընդգծելով, որ երկիրն ու պետականությունը կանգնած է վճռորոշ ջրբաժանի առջև: Հայտարարության մեջ նշվում է, որ ժողովրդի և պետականության կողքին կանգնելու մասին ՀՀ Զինված ուժերի և Գլխավոր շտաբի հայտարարությունը բեկումնային է, իսկ ստեղծված իրավիճակը պետք է հանգուցալուծվի բացառապես քաղաքական ճանապարհով:

ԲՀԿ-ն վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին կոչ է անում երկիրը չտանել քաղաքացիական պատերազմի: Նշվում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ունի վերջին հնարավորություն քաղաքական ճանապարհով անցնցում հեռանալու

«Մենք թույլ չենք տալու, որ մեր երկրում հայի ձեռքով հայի արյուն թափվի, մենք թույլ չենք տալու որպեսզի իր իշխանությունն օր ավել երկարաձգելու մոլուցքով տառապող անձը մեր հայրենակիցներին տանի բախումների: Մենք պետականություն ենք կորցնում:

Կոչ ենք անում ՀՀ ԱԱԾ-ին, Ոստիկանությանը և մյուս բոլոր ուժային կառույցներին դուրս չգալ սեփական ժողովրդի դեմ և չդառնալ գործիք մեկ մարդու իշխանությունը պահելու համար: Ստեղծված իրավիճակը պետք է հանգուցալուծվի բացառապես քաղաքական ճանապարհով: Մենք ժողովրդի կողքին ենք և ամեն ինչ անելու ենք մեր երկրում խաղաղ և անցնցում իշխանափոխություն ապահովելու համար»,- ասված է հայտարարության մեջ:

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբը փետրվարի 25-ին հանդես է եկել հայտարարությամբ՝ պահանջելով վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և կառավարության հրաժարականը: ՀՀ վարչապետը հայտարարել է, որ տեղի ունեցողը համարում է ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձ՝ իր կողմնակիցներին կոչ անելով հավաքվել Երևանի Հանրապետության հրապարակում:
