Հանրապետության հրապարակում մեկնարկել է վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հրավիրած հանրահավաքը: Վարչապետը ներողություն է խնդրել իրենց ու նախորդ կառավարությունների սխալների համար ու ասել, որ իրենց սխալների մեծագույն պատճառներից մեկը սիրված իշխանություն լինելն է։

Հավաքվածները 1 րոպե լռությամբ հարգել են Արցախյան պատերազմում զոհվածների ու Մարտի 1-ի զոհերի հիշատակը։

Փաշինյանը նշել է, որ իրենց առաջ այժմ անվտանգային, արտաքին քաղաքական, տարածաշրջանային, ներքաղաքական բնույթի մարտահրավերներ կան ու դրանց կառավարումից է կախված երկրի ու ժողովրդի ապագան։

«Հիմա արդեն հասել ենք մի կետի, որ սպառում ենք սխալվելու մեր հնարավորությունները։ Մեր անկախության 31 տարում թույլ ենք տվել բոլոր հնարավոր սխալները, բոլոր սխալները, որ հնարավոր էին տեսականորեն։ Հեղափոխությունից հետո մենք թույլ ենք տվել բոլոր հնարավոր սխալները։ Խոսքը մեր կառավարության, անձամբ իմ մասին է։ Եվ ես ուզում եմ ձեզնից՝ բոլորից, ՀՀ բոլոր քաղաքացիներից, Սփյուռքի բոլոր հայերից, Արցախի բոլոր հայերից, ներողություն խնդրել իմ թույլ տված բոլոր սխալների համար»,- ասել է վարչապետը՝ նշելով, որ ինքը շատ է մտածել՝ ինչու են իրենք սխալվել։

Փաշինյանի խոսքով՝ իր կառավարության սխալների մեծագույն պատճառներից մեկը, որքան էլ տարօրինակ թվա, որպես իշխանություն սիրված լինելն է։

«Մենք այնքան սիրված ենք եղել, որ, ձգտելով արդարացնել ժողովրդական այդ սերը եւ մեր սերը՝ ժողովրդի ու հայրենիքի նկատմամբ, ցանկացել ենք ամեն ինչ անել ճշգրիտ եւ կատարյալ։ Եվ կատարելության փնտրտուքը շատ դեպքերում բերել է անգործության։ Երբեմն իրադրության բերումով անխուսափելի է եղել ընտրությունը վատի եւ վատթարագույնի միջեւ, բայց մենք հրաժարվել ենք կատարել այդ ընտրությունը՝ մտածելով, որ ժողովուրդը մեզ իշխանության չի բերել, որ մենք իր առաջ դնենք վատը կամ վատթարագույնը»,- ասել է Փաշինյանը:
