Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հերթական անգամ հրապարակայնորեն ընդդիմադիրներին մեղադրեց պետական գաղտնիք բացահայտելու և այդ հարցում Ադրբեջանին օգնելու մեջ: Փաշինյանը դրանով պարզապես փորձում էր խուսափել Սյունիքում մեր դիրքերի կահավորման մասին հարցին պատասխանելուց: Միանշանակ է, որ տվյալ հարցի պատասխանն իր մեջ չի կարող պարունակել պետական գաղտնիք, քանի որ այն, ինչ այսօր կատարվում է Սյունիքում և հատկապես սահմանին, այնտեղ բնավկող յուրաքանչյուր բնակչի աչքի առաջ է կատարվում և ասել, որ կատարվողը Սյունեցու սրտով չէ, նշանակում է ոչինչ չասել:

Իրականում թե՛ պատերազմի օրերին, թե՛ դրանից հետո պետական գաղտնիք բացահայտելու գործում առաջամարտիկ էին հենց ինքը` Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, և իր թիմակիցները; Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ուղիղ եթերով հայտնում էր մոբռեսուրսի թիվը, տեղեկացնում էր որ կենտրոնական հավաքակայան ներկայացողները պետք է իրենց հետ ունենան զրահաբաճկոններ` դրանով իսկ մատնելով, որ զինված ուժերում առկա է նման խնդիր: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը պատերազմից հետո գրեթե բառացի մեջբերում էր ԱԽ նիստի արձանագրությունը, որը պետական գաղտնիք է՝ Օնիկ Գասպարյանի դեմ քաղաքական դիվիդենտներ շահելու նպատակով: Սկզբում հայտարարվում էր, որ իսկանդեռի կիրառման հանգամանքը պետական գաղտնիք է, սակայն պատերազմից հետո Փաշինյանը բացահայտեց նաև այդ գաղտնիքը: Պատերազմի օրերին Փաշինյանը և «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցության անդամներն իրենց էջերում տարածում էին հայկական զինված ուժերի տեղորոշումը բացահայտող տեսանյութեր, այնուհետև ջնջում դրանք:

Այսքանից հետո իշխանությունները` ի դեմս Փաշինյանի, փորձում են պետական գաղտնիք բացահայտող և երկրի անվտանգության մասին չմտածող ներկայացնեն իրենց քաղաքական հակառակորդներին:
