Հեղափոխությունից հետո հայկական մեդիայի ուշադրության կենտրոնից չի վրիպել նաև Արագածոտնի մարզպետ Դավիթ Գևորգյանը: Վերջինիս մասին գրում էին, որ հետաքրքիր նորամուծություն է արել՝ ամեն շաբաթ-կիրակի պարտադրում է մարզպետարանի աշխատակազմին իր անվամբ գործուղումներ ձևակերպել և «մեկնում» է մարզի համայքներ՝ դրա համար հանգստյան օրերին աշխատելու պատրվակով լրացուցիչ վարձատրվելով: Գրիգորյանը մեկ այլ տհաճ պատմության մեջ էլ է հայտնվել. ամիսներ առաջ ՀԷԿ-ի դեմ պայքարող Արագած գյուղի բնակիչները փակել էին ճանապարհը, իսկ երբ մարզպետը եկավ հանդարտեցնելու, էլ ավելի սրեց իրավիճակը և այդ ամենը վերածվեց լեզվակռվի, ինչը միանշանակ հարիր չէ պաշտոնատար անձի, այն էլ՝ Նոր Հայաստանում, որտեղ ամեն օր խոսում են փոխադարձ հարգանքից և քաղաքական նոր մշակույթ ձևավորելու անհրաժեշտությունից:
 
Ամիսներ առաջ էլ համացանցում տարածվեց տեղեկատվություն, որի համաձայն՝ Արագածոտնի մարզպետ Դավիթ Գևորգյանը չորս տարի առաջ ընկերների հետ մասնակցել է ՌԴ դեսպանատան դիմաց կազմակերպված բողոքի ակցիաներին: Բողոքի ակցիայի ժամանակ մասնակիցները փորձել են այրել ՌԴ դրոշը, իսկ երբ ոստիկանները փորձել են դա կանխել, Դավիթ Գևորգյանը դրոշը գցել է ոտքերի տակ և կոշիկները սրբել է վրան: Այս տեղեկատվությունը Դավիթ Գևորգյանը հերքել է՝ ասելով, որ տարածված տեղեկությունն իրականությանը չի համապատասխանում, և նա ՌԴ-ի նկատմամբ այդպիսի դիրքորոշում չունի և չի ունեցել: Լրատվամիջոցներին, սակայն, հաջողվեց պարզել, որ մարզպետի հետ տեղի ունեցած դրվագը իրականությանը համապատասխանում է:

Նշենք, որ ավելի վաղ «Հրապարակը» գրել էր, որ Արագածոտնի մարզպետ Դավիթ Գեւորգյանը իր մոտ տեղի ունեցած եւ ընդհատված խորհրդակցության ժամանակ, դիմելով արդեն փոխմարզպետ Անահիտ Սարգսյանին, ասել է՝ «Այ հոգեկան հիվանդ, դուրս արի»։ Ներկա են եղել նաեւ մարզպետարանի վարչությունների պետեր եւ խորհրդականներ: Անահիտ Սարգսյանը ժամանակին համակարգել է մարզի կրթական ոլորտը, եւ, թերթի տեղեկություններով, կառավարությանը հասցեագրված մի նամակին օրինական ընթացք տալու պատճառով հակասություն է առաջացել մարզպետի եւ նրա միջեւ:

Դրանից հետո մարզպետը փոխմարզպետին զրկել է խորհրդակցություններին մասնակցելու եւ իր աշխատասենյակը մտնելու իրավունքից։ Եվ ահա նախօրեին Անահիտ Սարգսյանը նորից է փորձել մասնակցել խորհրդակցությանը, սակայն Գեւորգյանն ասել է. «Այ հոգեկան հիվանդ, քեզ ասում եմ՝ դուրս արի սենյակից»: Իհարկե, պատժվել է ոչ թե ոչ կոռեկտ պահվածք դրսևորած մարզպետը, այլ հենց փոխմարզպետը, ում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ազատեց աշխատանքից:
