ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանն ուղերձ է հղել Բռնի անհետացումների զոհերի միջազգային օրվա կապակցությամբ։ Ուղերձում, մասնավորապես, ասվում է․
 
«Այսօր՝ օգոստոսի 30-ը նշվում է որպես Բռնի անհետացումների զոհերի միջազգային օր: Ցավոք, 2020 թվականի սեպտեմբեր-նոյեմբեր ամիսների պատերազմի հետևանքով մեր հայրենակիցների թվում ունեցանք մեծաթիվ անհետ կորածներ, և նրանց որոնման աշխատանքները դեռ շարունակվում են:
 
Ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների կողմից մարդասիրական ու մարդու իրավունքների հարցերի բացահայտ քաղաքականացումը, գերիների իրական թվի չհրապարակումը բերեց լրացուցիչ զրկանքների, մարդկանց պատճառվող հոգեկան լրացուցիչ տանջանքների:
Ադրբեջանական հայատյաց քաղաքականության հետևանքով բռնի անհետացել, սպանվել ու խոշտանգվել են բազմաթիվ մարդիկ, որոնց վերաբերյալ կան փաստական անհերքելի ապացույցներ։
 
Դրա հետ միասին, մեր պետությունը պետք է հնարավորին ինտենսիվ ջանքեր ներդնի մարմինների ԴՆԹ հետազոտությունների արդյունավետ և արագ իրականացման գործում։ Թեև, գործընթացի երկարացման հարցում կան նաև օբյեկտիվ գործոններ, սակայն այդ գործընթացում ընտանիքների հետ հաղորդակցության ճիշտ կազմակերպումը կարող է մեղմել ընտանիքների հոգեբանական լրացուցիչ տանջանքները։
Պետք է գիտակցենք բոլորս, որ յուրաքանչյուր անհետ կորած համարվող մարդու անուն ազգանվան հետևում ընտանիքի ցավ ու դժբախտություն է, ծնողի վերադարձի անվերջանալի սպասում երեխաների համար։
Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի իրավասության շրջանակում մենք ձեռնարկում ենք բոլոր անհրաժեշտ քայլերը մարդկանց իրավունքների երաշխավորմանը նպաստելու համար»։
