Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի հրամանագրով շախմատիստուհի, միջազգային գրոսմայստեր Էլինա Դանիելյանը պարգևա­տրվել է «Հայրենիքին մատուցած ծառայու­թյունների համար» 2-րդ աստիճանի շքանշանով՝ 2021 թվականին շախմատի Եվրոպայի կանանց անհատական առաջ­նությունում տարած հաղթանակի, միջազգային ասպարեզում Հայաստանն ըստ արժանվույն ներկայացնելու համար:

Գրոսմայստեր Էլինա Դանիելյանը վերջերս նվաճելով շախմատի Եվրոպայի կանանց առաջնության չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը՝ նորանկախ Հայաստանի պատմության մեջ արձանագրել էր առաջին նմանատիպ հաջողությունը:

Նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն այսօր նախագահական նստավայրում հյուրընկալել է Էլինա Դանիելյանին և հանձնել պետական բարձր պարգևը: Նախագահը շնորհավորել է Հայաստանի շախմատի կանանց հավաքականի առաջատար գրոսմայստերին և նոր հաղթանակներ մաղթել Եվրոպայի չեմպիոնին:

Նախագահ Սարգսյանն ու Էլինա Դանիելյանը զրուցել են շախմատային աշխարհում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունների, կատարվող փոփոխությունների, Հայաստանում շախմատային ավանդույթների պահպանման ու զարգացման կարևորության մասին:Նախագահը նշել է, որ հպարտությամբ է հետևել Եվրոպայի կանանց առաջ­նությունում գրոսմայստերի յուրաքանչյուր ելույթի և բարձր է գնահատել շախմատիստուհու ստեղծագործական մոտեցումը հինավուրց խաղին:

Այնուհետև հանդիպումը շարունակվել է շախմատային տախտակի շուրջ. պարտիան ավարտվել է բարեկամական ոչ-ոքի:

«Սա մեծ պատիվ է ինձ համար,- նախագահի հետ հանդիպման մասին ասել է Էլինա Դանիելյանը: -Յուրաքանչյուր մարզիկի համար կարևոր է, որ իր երկիրն ուշադրություն է դարձնում իրեն ու իր գրանցած հաջողություններին: Այդ պահին զգում ես, որ այն, ինչ անում էիր տարիների ընթացքում, այն աշխատանքն ու ջանքերը, որոնք գործադրել ես, իզուր չէին: Առանց դրա մեզ դժվար կլինի արդյունքներ ցույց տալ: Սա ոգեշնչում է և ուժ է տալիս հետագա նպատակներին հասնելու համար»:
