ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի եվրոպական ինտեգրման հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արման Եղոյանը հանդիպումներ է ունեցել Իտալիայի Սենատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների և միգրացիայի հարցերով հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Վիտո Ռոզարիո Պետրոչելիի և Պատգամավորների պալատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Պիերո Ֆասինոյի և հանձնաժողովի անդամների հետ։

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովից, քննարկվել են Իտալիայի և Եվրոպական միության հետ հարաբերությունների հետագազարգացման հեռանկարները, հանձնաժողովների համագործակցության մի շարք հնարավորություններ «Թվինինգ» ծրագրի շրջանակներում, ինչպես նաև խորհրդարանական տարբեր հարթակներում փոխգործակցությանն առնչվող հարցեր:

Ըստ աղբյուրի՝ կողմերն ուրախությամբ արձանագրել են, որ COVID-19 համավարակի հաղթահարման համար ԵՄ-ն ու Հայաստանը ձեռք-ձեռքի տված են պայքարում, ինչը հնարավորություն է տալիս վերսկսել նախկին բնականոն աշխատանքը` էլ ավելի սերտացնելով միջխորհրդարանական համագործակցությունը։

Նշվում է, որ մտքերի փոխանակությունից հետո հարցուպատասխանի միջոցով պատգամավորներն անդրադարձել են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնախնդրին, տնտեսական հարաբերությունների խթանմանը, իտալական կազմակերպությունների` Հայաստանում հաստատմանը:
