Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը բացառիկ հարցազրույց է տվել ռուսաստանյան РБК հեռուստաալիքի գլխավոր տնօրեն Իլյա Դորոնովին, որի շրջանակում անդրադարձել է գերիների հարցին։

Թեմային առնչվող հարցուպատասխանը ներկայացնում ենք ստորև․

Իլյա Դորոնով - Ինչո՞ւ մեկ տարի անց գերիները դեռևս շարունակում են մնալ Ադրբեջանում:

- Այդ հարցը ինձ չպետք է հղեք:

Իլյա Դորոնով - Այո, ես հասկանում եմ...

- Այդ հարցը պետք է նախ և առաջ ուղղեք Ադրբեջանին: Հիշում եմ՝ 1994-ին՝ առաջին պատերազմից հետո, բոլոր ռազմագերիները, որոնք եղել են Հայաստանի, Ղարաբաղի տարածքում վերադարձվել են Ադրբեջանին: Ինչու՞ է Ադրբեջանը որոշել այսօր չվերադարձնել և դատեր, բեմականացումներ անել, օգտագործել մարդկային կյանքները որոշակի խնդիրների լուծման համար:

Այդ հարցը պետք է տաք առաջին հերթին Ադրբեջանին, այդ հարցը հայ-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունների մասին չէ, այլ գտնվում է մարդկային հարաբերությունների մակարդակում, քանի որ նույնիսկ մեծ պատերազմների ժամանակ կողմերը փոխանակվում են գերիներով:

Այս հարցը նաև միջազգային հանրության տիրույթում է: Ես, որպես նախագահ, գերիների վերադարձի հարցով դիմել եմ ՄԱԿ-ին, ԵԽ-ին, ՆԱՏՕ-ին, բոլորին: Իսկ ինչու՞ արդյունք չկա: Երևի մի քանի պատճառ կա: Առաջինը՝ հնարավոր է՝ միջազգային կազմակերպություններն այնքան էլ արդյունավետ չեն, նրանց այնքան էլ չեն հարգում, ինչպես 30 տարի առաջ էր: Սակայն ՄԱԿ-ի, ՆԱՏՕ-ի և այլ միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ապագայի մասին խոսելն այլ թեմա է: Երկրորդը՝ հնարավոր է՝ հարցն այն է, որ Ադրբեջանն անտեսում է միջազգային կազմակերպություններին:
