«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Մեկ ամիս առաջ պատգամավորների 1/4-ի պահանջով ստեղծվել է «Հայաստան» համահայկական հիմնադրամի կողմից հավաքված եւ ՀՀ պետբյուջե փոխանցված միջոցների օգտագործումն ուսումնասիրող ԱԺ քննիչ հանձնաժողով: Սակայն հանձնաժողովի կազմը չէր հաստատվում, եւ նիստեր չէին հրավիրվում։ Երեկ ԱԺ խոսնակը հաստատել է կազմը։

Հանձնաժողովը կնախագահի «Հայաստան» խմբակցության քարտուղար Արծվիկ Մինասյանը: Կազմում են ՔՊ-ականներ Գեւորգ Պապոյանը, Բաբկեն Թունյանը, Ծովինար Վարդանյանը, Արուսյակ Մանավազյանը, Հովիկ Աղազարյանը, Արուսյակ Ջուլհակյանը, Սերգեյ Բագրատյանը, «Հայաստան»-ից՝ Էլինար Վարդանյանը, Թադեւոս Ավետիսյանը, «Պատիվ ունեմ»-ից՝ Հայկ Մամիջանյանը: Հիշեցնենք․ խոսքը պատերազմի օրերին հավաքագրված 52 միլիարդից ավելիի մասին է, որը փոխանցվել է կառավարությանը։

Պատերազմից հետո, այդ թվում` հիմնադրամի հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի անդամները քննադատություններ հնչեցրին, թե գումարը ոչ նպատակային է ծախսվել: Նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը, որը նաեւ հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նախագահն է, պահանջեց, որ ծախսերի հստակ եւ թափանցիկ հաշվետվություն ներկայացվի, սակայն ձայն բարբառո հանապատի»:
