«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի հրաժարականը շարունակում է հետաքրքրել հանրությանը: Մեզ նոր տեղեկություններ են հայտնի դարձել՝ այս թեմայի հետ կապված:

Պարզվում է` Կոռուպցիայի կանխարգելման հանձնաժողովը, որի հիմնական գործառույթը «բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնատար անձանց անհամատեղելիության պահանջների եւ այլ սահմանափակումների, ինչպես նաեւ էթիկայի կանոնների, իրավիճակային շահերի բախման կարգավորումների պահպանմանը հետեւելն է եւ եկամուտների հայտարարագրերը ստուգելն ու վերլուծելը», դեռեւս ամիսներ առաջ սկսել է ուսումնասիրել Արմեն Սարգսյանի ունեցվածքը եւ մասնավորապես «Հետքի» հրապարակումը՝ «Նախագահ Սարգսյանին փոխկապակցված ընկերությունը 7.5 մլն եվրոյով գույք է գնել Փարիզի Ելիսեյան դաշտերի մոտ», որտեղ շոշափվում են նախագահի քրոջ՝ բժիշկ Կարինե Սարգսյանի, ու դստեր՝ Տաթեւիկ Սարգսյանի անունները:

Սակայն այս գործով որեւէ շոշափելի հիմքեր չեն գտել` վարույթ սկսելու: Այդ ուսումնասիրությունները չավարտված` շվեյցարական մի ընկերությունից հանձնաժողովը հարցում է ստացել, որով հետաքրքրվել են` արդյոք ՀՀ նախագահը Հայաստանում հայտարարագրե՞լ է Շվեյցարիայում առկա գույքն ու դրամական միջոցները: Հանձնաժողովը գրությամբ դիմել է նախագահի աշխատակազմին` պարզաբանում ստանալու, պատասխան չի ստացել, իսկ մի քանի օր անց Արմեն Սարգսյանը հրաժարականի դիմում է ներկայացրել»:
