Այլընտրանքային նախագծեր խմբի անդամ, ԱԺ «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Էլինար Վարդանյանը հոդված է գրել, որը ներկայացնում ենք ստորև։

Տպավորություն է, որ Նարեկ Մանթաշյանի հետ վարվում են այնպես, ինչպես կվարվեին տեռորիզմի համար քրեական հետապնդման տակ գտնվող իրավախախտի հետ։ Այն, որ Մանթաշյանին ցուցադրաբար պատժում են, որևէ այլ կասկածի տեղիք չի թողնում։ Երեկ Մանթաշյանի փաստաբանները տեղեկություն տարածեցին, որ նրա առողջական վիճակը կտրուկ վատացել է: Նրա շաքարային դիաբետը հասել է 27 նիշի: ԱԱԾ-ն արգելել է Ն. Մանթաշյանին հեռախոսազրույցներ ունենալ և փաստացի այդ արգելքը տարածել է նաև պաշտպանների հետ կապի վրա։ Խայտառակ ապօրինության հետևանքով վերջինս զրկվել է հնարավորությունից իր առողջական վիճակի մասին տեղյակ պահել փաստաբաններին։

Պաշտպանները միայն ՔԿՀ այցելելու արդյունքում են տեղեկացրել, որ Մանթաշյանը հոսպիտալացվել է: Տարբեր ԲԿ-ներում Նարեկ Մանթաշյանին փնտրելուց հետո, պաշտպանները նրան կարողացել են գտնել միայն վերջինիս կրկին ՔԿՀ տեղափոխելուց հետո: Մանթաշյանի ինքնազգացողությունը շարունակում էր մնալ ծանր:

Այս ամենը ևս մեկ անգամ փաստում է, որ մենք վերածվել ենք մի երկրի, որտեղ կալանքը կիրառվում է որպես պատիժ, ցուցադրաբար, որպեսզի մյուսների համար լինի ազդակ։ Որպեսզի ցանկացած անձ հասկանա, որ դժգոհությունը իշխանությունից կարող է դիտարկվել որպես իրավախախտում, իսկ դրա համար իշխանություններին ծառայող իրավապահները «հիմքեր» կգտնեն, և որ ամենակարևորն է, դրանից հետո նրան կարող են վերաբերվել որպես վտանգավոր ահաբեկչի։

Իշխանություններն, ըստ էության, հաշվեհարդար են տեսնում Նարեկ Մանթաշյանի հետ, վերջինիս պատժում են կալանքով։ Այլ հետևությունների տեղիք չի մնում։

Հայաստանում իրավունքի, օրենքի խորը ճգնաժամ է։ Կալանքը, որպես քաղաքական հաշվեհարդարի միակ ձև, այս իշխանության այցեքարտն է: Մարդու իրավունքների և ազատությունների սահմանադրական և իրավական սկզբունքները ոտնահարելը այլևս օրինաչափություն է:

Եթե մենք այսօր համարժեք չարձագանքենք տեղի ունեցող անօրինականություններին, վաղը այս ռեպրեսիվ մեթոդները սպառնալու են հանրային բոլոր դեմքերին, ովքեր կունենան սեփական կարծիք։

Այսպիսին է այսօր «ժողովրդավարության բաստիոն» Հայաստանը։
