Փոխվարչապետ Համբարձում Մաթևոսյանն այսօր ընդունել է Հայաստանում Սուրբ Աթոռի Առաքելական նվիրակ, արքեպիսկոպոս Ժոզե Ավելինու Բետանկուրին։ Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ կառավարությունից։

Փոխվարչապետը ողջունել է արքեպիսկոպոսին և վերահաստատել Սուրբ Աթոռի հետ միջպետական հարաբերություններն առավել խորացնելու Հայաստանի շահագրգռվածությունն ու հանձնառությունը:

Արժևորելով 2021 թվականին Երևանում Առաքելական նվիրակություն բացելու Սուրբ Աթոռի որոշումը՝ Համբարձում Մաթևոսյանն ընդգծել է, որ այն փաստում է Հայաստան-Սուրբ Աթոռ միջպետական կապերին ու մեր տարածաշրջանում տեղի ունեցող զարգացումներին տրվող կարևորությունը։

Արքեպիսկոպոս Ժոզե Ավելինու Բետանկուրը շնորհավորել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Սուրբ Աթոռի միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 30-ամյակի կապակցությամբ և շեշտել, որ 30 տարվա գործակցությունը հիմնված է 2000-ամյա բարեկամական հարաբերությունների վրա։

Զրույցի ընթացքում փոխվարչապետը բարձր է գնահատել Սրբազան քահանայապետի հղած ուղերձները՝ Արցախի դեմ 44-օրյա պատերազմի ընթացքում և դրանից հետո, ռազմագերիների անհապաղ ազատ արձակման մարդասիրական օգնության մասին կոչերը և խնդրել, որպեսզի Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապը շարունակի իր աղոթքներում ու ուղերձներում հիշատակել հայ ռազմագերիների ու պահվող քաղաքացիական անձանց շուտափույթ հայրենիք վերադառնալու հարցը։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում, ի թիվս այլ հարցերի, անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև 44-օրյա պատերազմի հետևանքով Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության տակ անցած շրջաններում հայկական հոգևոր ու պատմամշակութային կոթողների պաշտպանության, պահպանման ու վերականգնման աշխատանքներում Սուրբ Աթոռի ներգրավվածության հնարավորությանն ու կարևորությանը։
