Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդունել է Հարավային Կովկասի ու Վրաստանի ճգնաժամի հարցերով Եվրոպական միության հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Տոյվո Կլաարին: Հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել նաև ՀՀ-ում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Անդրեա Վիկտորինը:

Վարչապետը գոհունակություն է հայտնել ՀՀ-ԵՄ գործընկերության դինամիկ զարգացման կապակցությամբ և կարևորել փոխհարաբերությունների ամրապնդմանը միտված ջանքերը: Անդրադառնալով Հայաստանում իրականացվող ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումներին՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդգծել է, որ Կառավարությունը հետևողականորեն առաջ է շարժվում ՀՀ ժողովրդավարական օրակարգի կյանքի կոչման ուղղությամբ և շնորհակալ է ԵՄ-ին՝ այդ գործընթացին սատարելու համար:

ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Տոյվո Կլաարը նշել է, որ Եվրոպական միությունը կարևորում է Հայաստանի հետ գործընկերությունը և վերահաստատում է ՀՀ ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումներին աջակցելու պատրաստակամությունը:

Զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են Հարավային Կովկասում տեղի ունեցող գործընթացներին, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ընթացիկ իրավիճակին և լարվածության աճին: Տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության և կայունության ամրապնդման համատեքստում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը և Տոյվո Կլաարը մտքեր են փոխանակել Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև սահմանագծման և սահմանազատման, հաղորդակցության ուղիների ապաշրջափակման, Հայաստան-Թուրքիա երկխոսության ընթացքի շուրջ:

ՀՀ վարչապետը բարձր է գնահատել Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելի՝ տարածաշրջանային կայունության ամրապնդմանը միտված ջանքերը: Այս համատեքստում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կարևորել է Բրյուսելում ԵԽ նախագահի և Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի, Սոչիում ՌԴ նախագահի միջնորդությամբ կայացած հանդիպումները և դրանց շրջանակում ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունների իրականացումը:

Երկուստեք ընդգծվել է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության հովանու ներքո ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի համապարփակ կարգավորման անհրաժեշտությունը:
