Ոստիկանությունում արձանագրվող դեպքերի վերլուծությունը ցույց է տվել, որ վերջերս արձանագրվում է խաբեությամբ գումար հափշտակելու նոր մեխանիզմ։ Հանցավոր նպատակ ունեցող անձինք առուվաճառքի կայքերում գտնում են «Այֆոն» բջջային հեռախոսների վաճառքի հայտարարություններ։ Հեռախոսային ուղիղ կապով կամ բջջային հավելվածի միջոցով զանգում են վաճառողին և բջջային հեռախոսի աշխատունակության հետ կապված հարցեր տալիս։ Այնուհետև վաճառողին տրամադրում են իրենց «այքլաուդի» մուտքանունն ու գաղտնաբառը և խնդրում, որ նա դրանք հավաքի իր հեռախոսում, որպեսզի գնորդը իբր համոզվի՝ վաճառվող հեռախոսը աշխատունակ է, թե՝ ոչ։

Բջջային հեռախոսը վաճառող անձը, հավատալով գնորդի ազնվությանը, իր հեռախոսում հավաքում է գնորդի տրամադրած «այքլաուդի» մուտքանունն ու գաղտնաբառը, ինչից հետո գնորդը փոխում է «այքլաուդի» գաղտնաբառը՝ վաճառողին զրկելով իր հեռախոսն ամբողջ ծավալով օգտագործելու հնարավարությունից։ Բացի այդ, հանցավորը ցանկացած պահի հնարավորություն է ունենում արգելափակել բջջային հեռախոսը, ջնջել առկա տեղեկատվությունը կամ կատարել այլ վնասաբեր գործողություններ։ Որոշ ժամանակ անց նույն անձը կրկին կապ է հաստատում բջջային հեռախոսը վաճառողի հետ և սպառնում, որ եթե իրեն տերմինալի միջոցով չուղարկի որոշակի գումար, ապա կջնջի բջջային հեռախոսի տվյալները կամ կարգելափակի։

Նմանատիպ դեպքերի վերաբերյալ մի քանի հաղորդում է ստացվել ոստիկանության բաժիններում։ Ձեռնարկվում են միջոցառումներ՝ հանցագործությունները բացահայտելու ուղղությամբ։
Հարգելի՛ քաղաքացիներ, ոչ մի դեպքում մի՛ տրամադրեք անծանոթ անձանց ձեր օգտահաշիվների տվյալները, ինչպես և ձեր բջջային հեռախոսներում մի՛ մուտքագրեք այլոց օգտահաշիվների տվյալները՝ նման իրավիճակներում չհայտնվելու համար։ Իսկ եթե արդեն դարձել եք նման հանցագործության զոհ, դիմեք ոստիկանություն։
