«Այսօր 14:00 Կենտրոնի դատարանում վերսկսվում է մեր դատական գործընթացը, իսկ մինչ այդ երեկ, օգտվելով կարճատև դադարից և Աստծո շնորհած ազատությունից, մենք երեկ ուխտագնացության գնացինք Գոշավանք, խոնարհվելու և խորհուրդ հարցնելու այնտեղ թևածող Մխիթար Գոշի անմահ ոգուց:

Մխիթար Գոշը ավելի քան 800 տարի առաջ հեղինակել է առաջին համապարփակ հայկական Դատաստանագիրքը, որն իր մեջ ներառում է թե Սահմանադրության, և թե ժամանակակից Քրեական օրենսգրքի տարրեր, ընդ որում նա իրավունքի ակունքը տեսել է Աստվածային կամքի և քրիստոնեական արժեքների մեջ, և իր Դատաստանագիրքը գրելով, փորձել է սահմանափակել մարդու նկատմամբ կիրառվող կամայականությունը և ժամանակի դատական կոռուպցիան: Գոշի Դատաստանագիրքը այնպիսի հզոր ձեռնարկ է հանդիսացել, որ դուրս գալով Հայաստանի սահմաններից, հիմք է հանդիսացել ապագայում Վրաստանում ընդունված օրենսգրքի, հետո էլ սկսել է տարածվել նաև մի շարք եվրոպական երկրներում:

Երեկ, գտնվելով մեր պատմության այս փառահեղ վայրում, ունկնդրելով պատարագին և նրան հաջորդած քարոզին, փորձելով աղոթքով հաղորդակցվել Մխիթար Գոշի հավերժող ոգու հետ, ես եկա այն պարզ հետևության, որ յուրաքանչյուրս պետք է խոնարհությամբ ընդունենք մեզ բաժին հասած փորձությունները, չչարանանք, պատրաստ լինենք հատուցել մեր սխալների համար, միևնույն ժամանակ հետևողական պայքարենք մեր ազատության, մեր իրավունքների և մեր իդեալների համար:

Մեր պայքարը շարունակվում է, և ես այսօր նոր փորձություներին ընդառաջ եմ գնում բաց ճակատով, Աստծո ողորմածությամբ, և Մխիթար Գոշի անանց պատգամը սրտիս մեջ: Աստված պահապան բոլորիս»:
