Եվրոպայում անվտանգության և համագործակցության կազմակերպության (ԵԱՀԿ) գործող նախագահ, Լեհաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Զբիգնև Ռաուն և ԵԱՀԿ գլխավոր քարտուղար Հելգա Մարիա Շմիդը կոչ են արել անհապաղ դադարեցնել կրակը Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանին՝ նկատի ունենալով հաղորդագրությունները տեղի ունեցող զինված բախումների մասին: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ այդ մասին հայտնում են ԵԱՀԿ քարտուղարության հաղորդակցության և ԶԼՄ-ների հետ կապերի բաժնից:

«Ռազմական գործողությունների սրացումը Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանին պետք է անհապաղ դադարեցվի: Դիվանագիտական ճանապարհով ձեռք բերված առաջընթացը չպետք է մսխվի: Վերջին 18 ամիսներին հաջողվել էր առաջընթացի հասնել՝ ներառյալ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև համաձայնությունը շարունակելու աշխատանքը խաղաղության պայմանագրի ուղղությամբ: Այս բախումները վտանգում են այդ առաջընթացը և վտանգի տակ են դնում անթիվ կյանքեր», - հայտարարել է ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահ Զբիգնև Ռաուն:

ԵԱՀԿ գլխավոր քարտուղար Հելգա Շմիդն էլ իր հերթին ընդգծել է, որ ռազմական գործողությունները պետք է դադարեցվեն՝ հատկապես հետագա զոհերից խուսափելու համար:

«ԵԱՀԿ-ն պատրաստ է օգնել՝ հենվելով տասնամյակների փորձի և փորձագիտության վրա: Մենք բոլորս կիսում ենք տարածաշրջանում կայուն խաղաղության և բարգավաճման հասնելու համատեղ նպատակը», - ասել է Շմիդը:
