Միացյալ Նահանգների պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենը, ով սեպտեմբերի 19-ին Նյու Յորքում հանդիպել է Հայաստանի արտգործնախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանի և Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարար Ջեյհուն Բայրամովի հետ, կոչ է արել նրանց նորից հանդիպել մինչև սեպտեմբերի վերջ, այս մասին հայտնել է պետդեպի խոսնակ Նեդ Փրայսը։

«Պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենն ընդունել է Հայաստանի արտգործնախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանին և Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարար Ջեյհուն Բայրամովին՝ վերջին բախումներից հետո ունենալու առաջին ուղիղ բանակցությունները։ Պետքարտուղար Բլինքենը ցավակցություն է հայտնել մարդկային կորուստների համար և շեշտել անհրաժեշտությունը՝ կանխելու հետագա ռազմական գործողությունները, ինչպես նաև ընդգծել խաղաղության գործընթացին վերադառնալու կարևորությունը։ Նրանք քննարկել են հաջորդ քայլերը, և պետքարտուղարը կոչ է արել կողմերին կրկին հանդիպել մինչև ամսվա վերջ»,- հայտնել է պետդեպի խոսնակ Նեդ Փրայսը։

Հայաստանի ԱԳՆ-ից ավելի վաղ հայտնել էին, որ ՄԱԿ Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 77-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում, ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենի միջնորդությամբ տեղի ունեցած հանդիպման ընթացքում Արարատ Միրզոյանն ընդգծել է, որ ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերը պետք է դուրս բերվեն ՀՀ ինքինիշխան տարածքից, ուժի կամ ուժի սպառնալիքի կիրառումն անընդունելի են, իսկ հետագա էսկալացիաների կանխարգելման նպատակով պետք է ներդրվեն միջազգային մեխանիզմներ։ ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարը կարևորել է հումանիտար խնդիրների, այդ թվում` ռազմագերիների հայրենադարձման շուտափույթ կարգավորումը։ Նախարար Միրզոյանը վերահաստատել է հայկական կողմի պատրաստակամությունը՝ ներգրավվելու հարաբերությունների համապարփակ կարգավորման գործընթացում։
