Իր խոսքերն ուղղելով ՆԱՏՕ-ի երկրների ներկայացուցիչներին՝ Կրեմլի ղեկավարն ասել է, որ կդիմի ցանկացած հասանելի միջոցի, այդ թվում՝ միջուկային զենքի՝ պաշտպանելու գրավված տարածքները։

Այնուամենայնիվ, ԱՄՆ պաշտոնաթող բրիգադային գեներալ Քևին Ռայանը կարծում է, որ Պուտինը կարող է հուսահատվել Խարկովի մարզում ռուսական զորքերի պարտությունից հետո և այս ֆոնին միջուկային զենքի դիմել՝ որպես վերջին միջոց։

Հիշեցնենք, որ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության ողջ նավատորմը շուտով կհայտնվի Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի հրթիռների հասանելիության տակ։ Այժմ Ռուսաստանի ամբողջ Սևծովյան նավատորմը թաքնվում է թերակղզու հետևում, սակայն հակահարձակման մոտենալուն զուգահեռ Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերը կհայտնվեն պաշտպանության համար ոչ շահավետ դիրքում։
