«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է․ «Հոկտեմբերի 12-ին հայտնի դարձավ, որ ԿԳՄՍ նախարարությունում գաղտնի նախագիծ է շրջանառվել, որով նախատեսվում է միավորել Ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի հայկական պետական ինստիտուտը եւ Բրյուսովի անվան համալսարանը Խաչատուր Աբովյանի հայկական պետական մանկավարժական համալսարանի հետ:

Վերամիավորումից հետո այն կկոչվի Խաչատուր Աբովյանի անվան կրթական գիտությունների ինստիտուտ:

Սակայն ուշագրավն այն է, որ օրեր շարունակ հազարավոր ուսանողների դասադուլի պատճառ հանդիսացող այս նախագծին առարկայական որեւէ գնահատական եւ բացատրություն մինչ օրս Կառավարությունից չեն տվել, միայն օրերս է ԿԳՄՍ նախարար Վահրամ Դումանյանը անդրադարձել է եւ ասել, թե զարմացած է Բրյուսովի ռեկտորի այն հայտարարությունից, որ իր համար եղել է անակնկալ բուհերի միավորման հարցը, եւ պայքարը համարել է մի երկու ռեկտորի հաստիքի կրճատման հարց ընդամենը:

Իհարկե, տրամաբանությունը հուշում է, որ պետք է գոնե այս երեք բուհերի հենքի վրա ստեղծվեր նոր բուհ՝ լուրջ ռազմավարությամբ, մրցունակ կրթական ծրագրով, այլ ոչ թե այս բոլոր համալսարանները միանային, ուսանողների պնդմամբ, «վնասով աշխատող» Մանկավարժական համալսարանին, քանի որ փոխնախարարի մտերմուհին է ռեկտորը:

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը պարզեց, որ այս նախագծի փաստացի հեղինակը ԿԳՄՍ փոխնախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանն է, որը միաժամանակ Խ. Աբովյանի անվան պետական մանկավարժական համալսարանի հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նախագահն է, ինչի իրավունքը չունի: Շահերի ակնհայտ բախում է:
Բանն այն է, որ Ժաննա Անդրեասյանը՝ որպես հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նախագահ, պարտավորվածություն ունի Մանկավարժական համալսարանի զարգացումն ապահովել: Որպես փոխնախարար՝ նա պարտավոր է հայաստանյան բոլոր բուհերի զարգացման համար հավասար հնարավորություններ ստեղծել, հետեւաբար գործ ունենք ակնհայտ շահերի բախման օրինակի հետ:
Մանկավարժական համալսարանի ռեկտոր Սրբուհի Գեւորգյանը Ժաննա Անդրեասյանի մտերիմն է, եւ այս միավորման արդյունքում փոխնախարարն այնպես է նախատեսել, որ նոր ռեկտորի ընտրություն չլինի, այսինքն՝ Ժաննա Անդրեասյանի մտերմուհին կդառնա նոր միավորված համալսարանի ռեկտոր»:
