Թուրքիայի նախագահի ներկայացուցիչ Իբրահիմ Քալընը ակնարկել է մոտ ապագայում Հայաստանի հետ սահմանը երրորդ երկրի անձնագիր ունեցող անձանց համար բացելու հնարավորության մասին։ Այս մասին նա հայտարարել է տեղական լրատվամիջոցներից մեկին տված հարցազրույցում։

«Մեր հատուկ ներկայացուցիչները պարբերաբար քննարկել են այդ հարցերը: Կարելի է ասել, որ դրական գործընթաց է ընթանում: Դա անձնագրերով թույլտվությունների տրամադրումն է, հնարավոր քայլերը, որոնք պետք է ձեռնարկվեն մոտ ապագայում»,- ասել է Քալընը` մեկնաբանելով Երեւանի եւ Անկարայի միջեւ բանակցությունները։

«Մենք ցանկանում ենք, որ ամբողջ Հարավային Կովկասում խաղաղության և բարգավաճման համար հիմք ստեղծվի։ Ղարաբաղյան հարցը լուծված է, և կապեր են հաստատվում, որոնք չէին կարող հաստատվել 30 տարվա ընթացքում։ Այժմ տեղի են ունենում ուղիղ շփումներ, այլ ոչ թե երրորդ կողմերի միջոցով: Դա շատ կարևոր է»,–ասել է նա։
