Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Քրիստիննե Գրիգորյանը դեկտեմբերի 5-ին Վաշինգտոնում հանդիպել է ԱՄՆ Պետքարտուղարի Եվրոպական ու Եվրասիական հարցերով փոխտեղակալ Էրիկա Օլսոնի հետ։

ՄԻՊ-ից հայտնում են, որ Պաշտպանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել հայ ռազմագերիների հայրենադարձման ուղղությամբ Պետդեպարտամենտի կողմից գործադրվող ջանքերի համար և ներկայացրել է այն դժվարություններն ու ապրումները, որով անցնում են ընտանիքները՝ նկատի ունենալով նաև տեղեկատվական սադրիչ այն միջավայրը, որը ստեղծվում է ադրբեջանական կողմից։

Փոխտեղակալ Օլսոնը նշել է, որ իրենք շարունակում են աշխատել բազմաթիվ հումանիտար հարցերի լուծման ուղղությամբ, այդ թվում՝ ռազմագերիների վերադարձի, անհետ կորած անձանց ճակատագրերի պարզման և այլն։

Քրիստիննե Գրիգորյանը փոխտեղակալին ներկայացրել է Պաշտպանի հաստատության արտահերթ զեկույցները, որոնցում փաստագրել ու վերլուծել են սեպտեմբերի 13-14-ին ադրբեջանական հարձակման ընթացքում ու դրանից հետո տեղի ունեցած մարդու իրավունքների շարունակական խախտումները, հարձակման ենթարկված համայնքներում ապրող մարդկանց հումանիտար խնդիրները, պատերազմական հանցագործության այն փաստերը, որոնք Պաշտպանի աշխատակազմը հաստատել է հատուկ մեթոդաբանությամբ, ինչպես նաև հայերնադարձված ռազմագերիների վկայությունների հիման վրա կատարված հետևությունները Ադրբեջանում իրենց պահման ընթացում խոշտանգումների ու անմարդկային վերաբերմունքի փաստերի մասին։

Պաշտպանը կարևորել է կատարված հանցանքների համար պատասխանատուների պատասխանատվության ու պատժի անխուսափելիության հարցը՝ անկախ նրանից, թե ինչ ազգություն ունի հանցագործը։

Էրիկա Օլսոնը կարևորել է Պաշտպանի հաստատության աշխատանքը և շնորհակալություն հայտնել կարևոր տեղեկությունները ժամանակին ու անաչառ կերպով ներկայացնելու համար։
