«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Ինչպեսեւ ակնկալվում էր՝ իշխանությունը, ավանդույթի համաձայն, տարեվերջյան արտահերթ նիստերով փորձելու է սղղացնել աղմկահարույց նախագծեր։ Այսօր նշանակված ԱԺ արտահերթ նիստում, ի թիվս այլ հարցերի, ընդգրկված է նաեւ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի եւ թիմակիցների «վախերի մասին» վկայող նախագիծը։

Դրանով Պետական պահպանության ծառայությունը կառանձնացվի ԱԱԾ մարմիններից եւ կդառնա առանձին՝ վարչապետին ենթակա մարմին, իսկ պաշտոնաթող վարչապետերի եւ նախագահների համար պետական պահպանությունն այժմ գործող կարգով նախատեսված ցմահի փոխարեն կտրամադրվի 7 եւ 10 տարի ժամկետով, որից հետո դա կնախատեսվի վարչապետի որոշմամբ։ ԱԺ նախագահի ընտանիքի անդամներին եւս պետական պահպանություն կտրամադրվի:

«Հատուկ պետական պաշտպանության ենթակա անձանց անվտանգության ապահովման մասին» օրենքում փոփոխությունների փաթեթն ԱԺ պաշտպանության հարցերի հանձնաժողովի նիստում երեկ ներկայացրել է Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղար Արմեն Գրիգորյանը: Թե ինչու են որոշել ՊՊԾ-ն առանձնացնել ԱԱԾ-ից՝ ԱԱԽ քարտուղարը չի թաքցրել, որ քաղաքական որոշում է կայացվել. «Այս պահին կա քաղաքական որոշում, որ ԱԱԾ-ին պետք է թողնվի 3 գլխավոր գործառույթ՝ հակահետախուզություն, սահմանադրական կարգի պահպանում, ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքար: Այս երեք գործառույթներն են դրվում ԱԱԾ-ի վրա»:

Իսկ սա նշանակում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն իր պաշտպանության եւ անվտանգության հարցերը չի ուզում վստահել որեւէ մեկին եւ որոշել է անձամբ իրեն ենթակա մարմին դարձնել ՊՊԾ-ն, եւ որպեսզի էլ ավելի լավ պաշտպանեն, ՊՊԾ-ի համար աշխատավարձերը մինչեւ 100 տոկոս բարձրացնելու հարցն է դրված։ Նշենք, որ մինչեւ տարեվերջ մի քանի արտահերթ նիստ էլ կլինի»:
