Վրաստանը շահագրգռված է Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի ղեկավարների հետ եռակողմ հանդիպման անցկացմամբ։

Այս մասին Դավոսում Համաշխարհային տնտեսական ֆորումի տարեկան հանդիպման ժամանակ հայտարարել է Վրաստանի վարչապետ Իրակլի Ղարիբաշվիլին։

«Մենք իսկապես շահագրգռված ենք եռակողմ հանդիպման կազմակերպմամբ, քանի որ Ադրբեջանը, Վրաստանը և Հայաստանը տարածաշրջանի երեք հիմնական խաղացողներն են: Մենք իսկապես կարող ենք այն վերածել հնարավորությունների, խաղաղության և կայունության տարածաշրջանի»,- ասել է նա՝ հավելելով, որ Վրաստանը չեզոք, անաչառ և օբյեկտիվ միջնորդ է Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործում։

Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևն իր հերթին հայտարարել է, թե իբր Հայաստանին առաջարկել է Վրաստանում բանակցությունների եռակողմ ձևաչափ, սակայն, իր խոսքով, մերժում է ստացել։

«Ես բարձր եմ գնահատում իմ բարեկամ Իրակլի Ղարիբաշվիլիի ջանքերը, ով հանդիպում է անցկացրել Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարարների միջև <...> Եթե Կովկասի բոլոր երեք երկրները միավորեն իրենց ջանքերը էներգետիկայի, տրանսպորտի, կայունության, սահմանների սահմանազատման առումով, տարածաշրջանն ավելի ապահով կլինի»,- նշել է նա։
