Մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում հայ-մեքսիկական հարաբերությունները: Մենք բարեկամ ժողովուրդներ ենք, եւ Հայաստանը շահագրգռված է խորացնելու համագործակցությունը Մեքսիկայի հետ: Այս մասին ասել է Հայաստան-Մեքսիկա բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Գուրգեն Արսենյանը Հայաստանում Մեքսիկայի արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Էդուարդո Վիլյեգաս Մեխիասի հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում: Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ ԱԺ-ից։

Հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել մարտի 1-ին, որին մասնակցել են նաեւ ՀՀ ԱԺ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խմբակցության պատգամավորներ Ալխաս Ղազարյանը, Տաթեւիկ Գասպարյանը, Թագուհի Ղազարյանը եւ ՀՀ ԱԺ «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Արթուր Խաչատրյանը:

Ողջունելով դեսպանին խորհրդարանում՝ բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավարը շնորհավորել է նրան Հայաստանում Մեքսիկայի արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպանի պատասխանատու պաշտոնը ստանձնելու կապակցությամբ: Նա համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ համատեղ աշխատանքների արդյունքում կարձանագրվի արդյունավետ փախգործակցություն:

Դեսպանը, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար, նշել է, որ իր համար մեծ պատիվ է ներկայացնել Մեքսիկան Հայաստանում: Նա նշել է, որ հայ-մեքսիկական հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու մեծ ներուժ է տեսնում:

Բարեկամական խմբի անդամները կարեւորել են միջխորհրդարանական համագործակցությունը՝ նշելով, որ խորհրդարանական բարեկամական խմբի գործունեությունը նոր երանգներ կհաղորդի հայ-մեքսիկական հարաբերություններին:

Գուրգեն Արսենյանը գոհունակությամբ փաստել է, որ 2023 թվականի հունվարին, երբ Հայաստան էր այցելել Մեքսիկայի բարեկամական խմբի պատվիրակությունը, մի շարք հանդիպումներ են տեղի ունեցել, ձեռք են բերվել որոշ պայմանավորվածություններ: Նա հույս է հայտնել, որ այս ձեւաչափով համագործակցությունը շարունակական կլինի:

Արթուր Խաչատրյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Մեքսիկայի խորհրդարանին՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելու եւ դատապարտելու համար՝ նշելով, որ նման ոճրագործությունների ճանաչումը եւ դատապարտումը կարեւոր է դրանց հետագա կանխարգելման համար: Ներկայացնելով իրավիճակը Հայաստանում եւ Արցախում՝ պատգամավորը նշել է, որ ակնկալում է նաեւ Մեքսիկայի աջակցությունը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հարցի կարգավորման գործընթացում. այն է վերադառնալ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի իրավական կարգավիճակի որոշման բովանդակային բանակցություններին:

Թագուհի Ղազարյանը նշել է, որ գիտության, կրթության եւ մշակույթի բնագավառում առկա են համագործակցության մի քանի օրակարգեր, որոնք քննարկվել եւ հստակեցվել Մեքսիկայի բարեկամական խմբի պատվիրակության Հայաստան կատարած այցի ժամանակ: Նա հույս է հայտնել, որ քննարկված ծրագրերը կյանքի կկոչվեն նաեւ դեսպանի աջակցությամբ ու մասնակցությամբ:

Դեսպանը հայ-մեքսիկական հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու գործում համատեղ աշխատելու պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել:
