«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է․ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ անդրադառնալով «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Արսեն Թորոսյանի քննադատություններին, նշեց. «Ես գնահատում եմ պարոն Թորոսյանի ձգտումը՝ իր հետ աշխատած մարդուն դժվար իրավիճակում պաշտպանելու, նրա իրավունքների պաշտպանության անհրաժեշտության վրա ուշադրություն հրավիրելու համար: Սա եւս մի ապացույց է, թե ինչպիսի ժողովրդավար կուսակցություն է «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիրը»: Իրավական առումով հարցի պատասխանը կտա դատաքննությունը, եթե գործը հասնի այդ փուլին»:

Մասնավորապես, Արսեն Թորոսյանն իր գրառման մեջ այն ժամանակ իր տեղակալի (Գեւորգ Սիմոնյան-խմբ.) դեմ գործը շինծու է համարել: Փաշինյանը նաեւ նշեց. «Մեր երկրում Աստծուն չհավատացող հոգեւորականներ կան. մեծ ողբերգություն չէ, եթե որեւէ պատգամավոր դատաիրավական համակարգին չի հավատում»,- ասաց Փաշինյանը։ Դիտարկմանը՝ Ձեզ չի հավատում, վարչապետը հավելեց. «Առավել եւս՝ մեծ ողբերգություն չէ»: Իսկ ինչի՞ց է սկսվել Արսեն Թորոսյան-Նիկոլ Փաշինյան հակամարտությունը:

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը տեղեկացավ, որ նրանց հարաբերությունները լարվել են «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցության վարչության՝ 2022 թվականի նոյեմբերին տեղի ունեցած ընտրություններից հետո, որոնք կեղծվեցին, եւ վերահաշվարկ իրականացվեց: Իսկ ինչո՞ւ էր այդ հանգամանքը զայրացրել Փաշինյանին: Բանն այն է, որ, իշխանության գալով, եւ նաեւ տարբեր մամուլի ասուլիսերի ու ելույթերի ժամանակ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն իր իշխանության ամենամեծ ձեռքբերումներից էր համարում արդար ու ազատ ընտրությունները, որոնք չեն կեղծվում: Պարզվում է, սակայն, որ ընտրություններ են կեղծվում հենց իր թիմի ներսում, եւ բողոքարկողը եղել է հենց Արսեն Թորոսյանը:

Փաշինյանի խոսքերը, ըստ էության, հերքվեցին հենց իր կուսակիցների կողմից: Ավելին՝ Փաշինյանը մամուլում արտահոսքի համար էլ է Արսեն Թորոսյանին մեղադրում:Նկատենք, որ Հաշվեքննիչ պալատի բացահայտումների մասին հայտնի դարձավ դեռ նախորդ տարի, եւ միայն հիմա է քրեական գործի քննությունը թափ հավաքում, քանի որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այդպիսի հետեւողականությամբ չէր հրահանգել գործն առաջ տանել: Այժմ ժամանակներ են փոխվել, եւ նա պատժում է Արսեն Թորոսյանին իր քաղաքական գաղափարախոսությունը ոչնչացնելու համար»:
