Ադրբեջանի պետական և մերձպետական քարոզչությունը տևական ժամանակ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի նկատմամբ լայնածավալ հարձակման լրատվական ֆոն է ստեղծում և լարվածության միտումները տեսանելի են գետնի վրա։

Այս մասին Կառավարության նիստի ժամանակ ասաց Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։

«Մեր գնահատականը շարունակում է մնալ նույնը՝ Ադրբեջանի ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարությունը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի նկատմամբ էթնիկ զտումների, ցեղասպանության նախապատրաստություններ է տեսնում։ Այս արձանագրումը, մեծ հաշվով, առկա է նաև Արդարադատության միջազգային դատարանի փետրվարի 22-ի որոշման մեջ, որտեղ հստակ արձանագրվել է, որ Լաչինի միջանցքի փակումը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի համար կարող է բերել անդառնալի հումանիտար հետևանքներ։ Այս իմաստով կարևոր և անհետաձգելի եմ համարում, որ Հայաստանը միջոցներ ձեռնարկի ցեղասպանությունների կանխարգելման միջազգային մեխանիզմների գործարկման ուղղությամբ։

Խոսքը, մասնավորապես, Միացյալ ազգերի կազմակերպության շրջանակներում նախատեսված մեխանիզմների մասին է։ Այս մասին Արտաքին գործերի նախարարությանը տվել եմ համապատասխան հանձնարարականներ»,- հայտնեց վարչապետը։

Փաշինյանը հիշեցրեց, որ  շարունակվում են աշխատանքները Լաչինի միջանցք և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ միջազգային փաստահավաք առաքելություն գործուղելու ուղղությամբ։

«Կարծում եմ՝ փաստահավաք առաքելությունը կարևոր է նաև հասցեագրելու Ադրբեջանի անհիմն պնդումները, թե Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում բանակ ունի և որ Հայաստանից դեպի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ ռազմական փոխադրումներ են իրականացվում։ Այս պնդումները անհիմն են, և Ադրբեջանը փորձում է դրանք տարածաշրջանային ռազմական էսկալացիայի նոր պատրվակ դարձնել, հետևաբար՝ միջազգային փաստահավաք առաքելության գործուղումը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ և Լաչինի միջանցք նաև այս առումով է դառնում անհրաժեշտություն։

Ինչպես նշեցի նախորդ օրը տեղի ունեցած իմ ասուլիսում, այս թեմայով խոսակցություն տեղի է ունեցել նաև դեկտեմբերի 6-ին Պրահայում՝ Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահի, Ադրբեջանի նախագահի և իմ հանդիպման ժամանակ։

Ադրբեջանի նախագահը պնդում էր, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում բանակ ունի, ես պնդում էի, որ չունի, նա պնդում էր, որ ունի։

Ես առաջարկեցի հարցը պարզաբանելու համար միջազգային փաստահավաք առաքելություն գործուղել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ։ Ադրբեջանի նախագահը հրաժարվեց»,- ասաց վարչապետը։
