Աշխատանքային այցով Կատարի Պետությունում գտնվող նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը մասնակցել է Կատարի տնտեսական համաժողովի հանդիսավոր բացմանը: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ նախագահի պաշտոնական կայքից։

Պաշտոնական արարողությունից հետո, Հանրապետության նախագահը հանդիպել է Կատարի Պետության էմիր շեյխ Թամիմ բին Համադ Ալ Թանիի հետ:

Նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել էմիրին հրավերի համար և շնորհավորել Կատարի տնտեսական ֆորումը բարձր մակարդակով կազմակերպելու կապակցությամբ:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն իր խոսքում ընդգծել է Հայաստանի և արաբական աշխարհի միջև առկա սերտ բարեկամական հարաբերությունների շարունակական զարգացման և այդ ուղղությամբ երկուստեք առկա պատրաստակամության կարևորությունը:

Հանրապետության նախագահն իր խոսքում էմիրին մանրամասներ է հայտնել հարավկովկասյան տարածաշրջանային իրողությունների և ղարաբաղյան հիմնախնդրի բովանդակության վերաբերյալ: Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը շեշտել է, որ Հայաստանը հավատարիմ է տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության հաստատման և հարևան երկրների հետ բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունների հաստատման իր դիրքորոշմանը:

Շեյխ Թամիմ բին Համադ Ալ Թանին իր խոսքում նշել է, որ տեղյակ է հայ-ադրբեջանական հակամարտությունից և հուսով է, որ իրողությունները կզարգանան կայուն խաղաղության հասնելու օրակարգով: Էմիրը նշել է, որ ներկայում Կատարից Հայաստան և հակառակ ուղղությամբ կատարվում է շաբաթական 10 թռիչք, ինչը վկայում է երկու երկրների միջև առկա համագործակցային ներուժի մասին: Թամիմ բին Համադ Ալ Թանին նաև շեշտել է, որ տարածաշրջանում կայունության և խաղաղության հաստատումը կնպաստի հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացմանը:

Զրույցի ընթացքում քննարկվել է Հայաստանում Կատարի դեսպանատուն բացելու հնարավորությունը, երկուստեք շեշտվել է վերջինիս կարևորությունը, ինչը նոր մակարդակի կարող է բարձրացնել հայ-կատարական տնտեսական, գյուղատնտեսական, քաղաքական, մշակութային համագործակցությունը:

Հանդիպման ավարտին Հանրապետության նախագահը Կատարի էմիրին հրավիրել է այցելել Հայաստան:
