«SaveTheArQ» շարժումը Երուսաղեմի պատրիարքին է ներկայացրել հայկական թաղամասի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը

Հայկական կուսակցությունների և կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչները Երուսաղեմի պատրիարքին են ներկայացրել «Կովերի այգի» հայկական թաղամասի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը, հայտնում է Երուսաղեմի հայկական թաղամասը փրկելու «SaveTheArQ» շարժումը։

ՀՅ Դաշնակցության, ՀԺԱԿ-ի, Երուսաղեմի Հայկական բարեգործական միության, Հայ օգնության միության, «Հոեչմեն» ակումբի և ՀՄԸՄ-ի անդամները հանդիպել են Երուսաղեմի   պատրիարք Թեոֆիլոս III-ի հետ:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում Երուսաղեմի պատրիարքն ընդգծել է ավելի մեծ միասնության անհրաժեշտությունը՝ անկախ կրոնական նրբերանգներից ու տարբերություններից, ինչպես նաև ընդգծել համայնքային մակարդակով առավել բաց համագործակցության անհրաժեշտությունը։

Շարժման հիմնադիրները  փոխադարձեցին համերաշխության անհրաժեշտությունը և շնորհակալություն հայտնեցին Պատրիարքին մեծահոգի ընդունելության համար։ Վերոնշյալ հաստատությունների անունից Պատրիարքին է ներկայացվել նամակ Հայկական թաղամասում տեղի ունեցած վերջին իրադարձությունների վերաբերյալ։

Նշենք, որ Հայոց պատրիարքարանը Երուսաղեմի Հին քաղաքի հայկական թաղամասի մի մասը 99 տարով վարձակալության էր տվել  իսրայելական ընկերությանը։ Երուսաղեմի հայ համայնքը դեմ էր արտահայտվել այս գործարքին՝ կազմակերպելով մի քանի բողոքի ակցիաներ։ Ի վերջո, Երուսաղեմի Հայոց պատրիարքարանը նոյեմբերի 1-ին հայտարարեց, որ որոշում է կայացրել խզել «Կովերի այգի» թաղամասի վարձակալության պայմանագիրը։

Այս տարվա նոյեմբերի 1-ին Երուսաղեմի Հայոց պատրիարքարանը նամակ է հղել «Xana Gardens Ltd» ընկերությանը, որում հայտնում է, որ չեղյալ է հայտարարում 2021 թվականի հուլիսի 8-ին Երուսաղեմի Հին քաղաքի հայկական թաղամասում գտնվող «Կովերի այգի» կալվածքի վերաբերյալ  կնքված պայմանագիրը։  

Սրանից հետո վերաբնակիչների և հայ համայնքի միջև իրավիճակը սրվեց։ Երուսաղեմի հայկական թաղամասի պաշտպանության ու պահպանման համար շարժում է ձևավորվել, որը թույլ չի տալիս շինարարական աշխատանքներ իրականացնել այս տարածքում։
