Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության համաձայնագրի ուղղությամբ առաջընթացը հավանական է, սակայն բռնկումների կամ լայնամասշտաբ պատերազմի վերսկսման վտանգը բարձր կմնա, քանի որ Ադրբեջանը ձգտում է պահպանել լծակները Հայաստանի վրա։ Այս մասին ասվում է 2024 թվականի կանխատեսումների վերաբերյալ ամերիկյան հեղինակավոր Stratfor վերլուծական կենտրոնի հրապարակած զեկույցում։

«Երևանը կշարունակի ձգտել Բաքվի հետ խաղաղության համաձայնագիր կնքել, սակայն տարածաշրջանային տարանցիկ միջանցքների պայմանների շուրջ տարաձայնությունները կշարունակեն խոչընդոտել բանակցություններին։

«Եթե առաջին կիսամյակում զգալի առաջընթաց չգրանցվի, ամռանը կմեծանա Ադրբեջանի հարավային Հայաստանի զգալի տարածքների զավթման ռիսկը, երբ բարենպաստ պայմաններ կստեղծվեն լայնածավալ ռազմական գործողությունների բռնկման համար։ Չնայած Մոսկվայից հեռանալու Երևանի ցանկության աճող ազդակներին՝ Ռուսաստանի ազդեցությունը Հարավային Կովկասում այնքան չի նվազի, որ կդադարի նշանակալից լինել, քանի որ Հայաստանը կմնա Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպությունում, իսկ երկրի տնտեսությունը սերտորեն կապված է լինելու Ռուսաստանի տնտեսության հետ։

Միաժամանակ, Ադրբեջանի և Ռուսաստանի միջև երկկողմ հարաբերություններն ու առևտրային կապերը նոր մակարդակի կհասնեն։ Հարավային Կովկասում արևելք-արևմուտք տարանցումը կշարունակվի հիմնականում Վրաստանի տարածքով:

Եթե ​​Բաքուն ներխուժի Հայաստան՝ Նախիջևանի էքսկլավի հետ ցամաքային կապ հաստատելու համար, Ադրբեջանն ու Թուրքիան կհայտնվեն Արևմուտքի ճնշման տակ և կսպառնան փոխել իրենց արտաքին կուրսը՝ հեռանալով և ավելի սերտ կապեր հաստատելով Ռուսաստանի, Չինաստանի և Իրանի հետ»,- ասվում է վերլուծական կենտրոնի հրապարակած զեկույցում։
