Ararat Mirzoyan and the Minister of Economy of Oman discussed the possibilities of enhancing cooperation between the two countries

Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the Minister of Economy of Oman Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri.

The meeting took place in the framework of Minister Mirzoyan’s working visit to New York.

 According to the statement from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the Ministers discussed the possibilities of enhancing the sectoral cooperation in line with the political dialogue already formed between Armenia and Oman.

 In particular, increasing regional connectivity, unblocking and developing of economic and transport communications were touched upon. In this context, Minister Mirzoyan presented the project of “Crossroads of Peace”, underlining the opportunities for regional stability and economic development in case of its effective implementation.

 Views were exchanged also on projects of mutual interest in digitalization.

Minister Mirzoyan also presented to the Minister of Oman the regional security situation in the South Caucasus, including the importance of signing the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
