Սեքսապաթոլոգը նաև խորհուրդ է տալիս կանոնավոր կերպով զբաղվել ձեռնաշարժությամբ՝ ուսումնասիրելու սեփական մարմնի առանձնահատկությունները, կապվել հոգեբանի հետ, եթե անապահովությունը խանգարում է կյանքին, և հիշել, թե ինչ կարող էր սխալ լինել մանկության տարիներին։
