ՀՀ Արտաքին գործերի նախարարի մամուլի խոսնակը մեկնաբանել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահի երեկ արված հայտարարությանը այն մասին, որ ղարաբաղյան կարգավորման բանակցությունները իրականում դադարել են: Հայտարարության մեջ մասնավորապես ասվում է:

«Ադրբեջանի նախագահի՝ «Աբշերոն» հանքավայրում ծովային գործողությունների հիմնարկեքի արարողության ժամանակ արված հայտարարությունները խորապես հիասթափեցնող են։ Դրանք ի ցույց են դնում հարևան երկրի ղեկավարի անկարողությունը՝ սթափ և առանց ցավագին հույզերի ընկալելու ստեղծված իրականությունը և իր սեփական դերակատարումն այդ իրականության ձևավորման գործում։

Նմանօրինակ հռետորաբանությունը, որտեղ առկա են բացահայտ անհիմն և անգամ սուտ պնդումներ, պատիվ չի բերում որևէ երկրի ղեկավարին։

Մենք գիտակցում ենք խաղաղ գործընթացին Ադրբեջանի կողմից 2016թ․ ապրիլի հարձակմամբ և 2020 հուլիսի ռազմական էսկալացիա ձեռնարկելու հետևանքով հասցված վնասները։ Որպեսզի այդ վնասները չդառնան անդառնալի, Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարությունը պետք է վերանայի ուժի կիրառման և ուժի սպառնալիքի իր քաղաքականությունը, հրաժարվի արտատարածաշրջանային ուժերի ներգրավմամբ Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանային խաղաղության և անվտանգության ապակայունացման փորձերից և պատրաստվի խաղաղ միջոցներով խնդրի կարգավորմանը։

Հայաստանը վստահ է իր կարողությունների վրա՝ պաշտպանելու Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման և պատմական հայրենիքում ապրելու իրավունքը, և հենց այդ վստահությամբ վերստին ընդգծում ենք, որ խնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորումն այլընտրանք չունի»:
