«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Իմ քայլի» պատգամավոր Վարազդատ Կարապետյանը երեկ մանդատը վայր դնելու դիմում ներկայացրեց՝ դեկտեմբերի 4-ից ստանձնում է Չինաստանում ՀՀ առեւտրային ներկայացուցչի պարտականությունները։

«Իմ քայլում» սա զարմանք է առաջացրել, փորձել են հասկանալ՝ ինչ բիզնես կապեր ունի նա Չինաստանում կամ երբվանից է դիվանագիտական գործին տիրապետում, որ իրենք չեն իմացել։ Գործընկերներից մեկն ասաց․ «Ինքը բաշարող տղա է․ մի մոռացեք՝ ՓՄՁ ԶԱԿ-ում է աշխատել, գիտի ոնց փող բերի»։

Բայց ոմանք կարծում են, որ Փաշինյանը հերթով չեզոքացնելու է բոլոր «անվստահելիներին», ովքեր կարող են թիկունքից հարվածել եւ միանալ իրեն անվստահություն հայտնելու գործընթացին։

Հիշեցնենք, որ Վարազդատ Կարապետյանը ՀՀԿ-ի իշխանության ներկայացուցիչներից էր, բայց հեղափոխությունից հինգ պակաս կողմնորոշվել էր, իսկ հոկտեմբերի 12-ին գրառում էր արել՝ հերոսացնելով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի որդուն, որ իբրեւ թե ողջ զորքը փախել է, նա՝ ոչ»:
