Արարատի նախկին մարզպետ, այժմ Պետգույքի կառավարման կոմիտեի նախագահ Գարիկ Սարգսյանի պաշտոնավարման մի քանի ամիսների ընթացքում այս կառույցը մամուլի ուշադրության կենտրոնում է հայտնվել միայն կադրային ջարդերի և ահռելի չափի հասնող պետական գույքի վաճառքի առիթներով: Բանն այն է, որ վերջին ամիսներին բավական լայն տեմպերի է հասել պետական գույքի վաճառքը, ինչը որոշակի տարակուսանք է առաջացնում` հատկապես հաշվի առնելով իշխանությունների հավաստիացումները, որ բյուջեն լցնելու խնդիր կառավարության առջև դրված չէ:

Բանը հասել է նրան, որ վաճառվում են «Երևանի Գուրգեն Մարգարյանի անվան թիվ 94 ավագ դպրոց» ՊՈԱԿ-ի հիմնանորոգման արդյունքում առաջացած երկշերտ  պատուհանները, «Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահ» ՊՈԱԿ-ին անհատույց օգտագործման իրավունքով տրամադրված Երևան քաղաքի  Արամի փողոցի թիվ 1 հասցեում գտնվող շենքի ապամոնտաժված գույքը, «Գ. Սունդուկյանի անվան ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոն» ՊՈԱԿ-ի կաթսայատնից  ապամոնտաժված նախկինում օգտագործված սարքավորումները, ՀՀ ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության պետական պահպանության ծառայությանն ամրացված «ԼԵՔՍՈՒԶ LX 570»-ը, ՀՀ վարչապետի աշխատակազմին ամրացված գույքը՝ 1/ գայլիկոնման ուղղահայաց հաստոց ՏՈՒ-200, «Վաղարշապատի Մ.Գորկու անվան թիվ 5 ավագ դպրոց» ՊՈԱԿ-ի շենքի հիմնանորոգման արդյունքում ապամոնտաժված շինարարական նյութերը, «Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահ» ՊՈԱԿ-ին անհատույց օգտագործման իրավունքով տրամադրված Երևան քաղաքի  Արամի փողոցի թիվ 1 հասցեում գտնվող շենքի ապամոնտաժված գույքը: Բացի այդ, Պետական գույքի կառավարման կոմիտեն վաճառքի է հանել Գորիսում բացառիկ նշանակություն ունեցող  պատմական շենքերից մեկը։ Գորիսի ուսուցչի տան շենքը դեռեւս 1950 թվականին եղել է էքսկուրսիայի պետական ծառայության շենքը, հետո դարձել է առաջնորդարան, ավելի ուշ Գորիսի ուսուցիչների տունն է եղել։

Ինչպես տեսնում ենք, Սարգսյանն ակտիվորեն լծվել է պետական գույքի վաճառքին` առանց նույնիսկ ուսումնասիրելու այդ գույքի պատմական նշանակությունը, իսկ սա խոսում է միայն մեկ բանի մասին, որ պետական բյուջեում առաջացած անցքերը իշխանությունները փորձում են փակել պետական գույքի տոտալ վաճառքի միջոցով` չխորանալով անգամ, թե ինչ են վաճառում և ում...
