Անկարգությունները, որոնք վերածվել են բախումների Իսրայելի ոստիկանության հետ, բռնկվել են ուրբաթ երեկոյան Երուսաղեմի Տաճարի բարձունքում. վիրավորվել է երեք ոստիկան, հաղորդում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստի-ն՝ հղում անելով Իսրայելի ոստիկանության մամուլի ծառայությանը:

«Ոստիկանության եւ սահմանայինների բազմաթիվ ուժեր աշխատում են կարգուկանոնը վերականգնելու ուղղությամբ անկարգություններից հետո, որոնք սկսվել են այսօր Տաճարի բարձունքում, որոնց ընթացքում հարյուրավոր հավատացյալներ կոպտորեն խախտել են կարգուկանոնը, հարձակվել են ոստիկանների վրա՝ նրանց ուղղությամբ նետելով քարեր եւ տարբեր առարկաներ, որի հետեւանքով երեք ոստիկան վիրավորվել է»,-ասվում է կառույցի մամուլի ծառայության հաղորդագրության մեջ: Ներկայում իսրայելցի իրավապահները հայտնել են, որ նրանց հաջողվել է վերահսկողություն սահմանել իրավիճակի շուրջ:

Ուրբաթ երեկոյան վերականգնվել են նաեւ անկարգությունները Արեւելյան Երուսաղեմի Շեյխ Ջարախ թաղամասում, բերման է ենթարկվել երկու մասնակից, հայտնել են Իսրայելի ոստիկանության մամուլի ծառայությունից: Ոստիկանությանը կարգադրվել էր ցրել բողոքի ցույցը, մասնակիցներին հնարավորություն էր տրվել ինքնակամ հեռանալ, սակայն նրանք այդպես չէին վարվել: Այդ կապակցությամբ ոստիկանությունը ստիպված էր կիրառել հատուկ միջոցներ ամբոխին ցրելու համար, նշում են կառույցից: Գործողության ընթացքում բերման է ենթարկվել խուլիգանության, զանգվածային անկարգություններ կազմակերպելու եւ ոստիկանության ուղղությամբ քարեր նետելու մեջ երկու կասկածյալ:

Արեւելյան Երուսաղեմի Շեյխ Ջարախ թաղամասում, որտեղ Իսրայելի դատարանի որոշմամբ իրականացվում է որոշ արաբ ընտանիքների վտարում, արդեն մեկ շաբաթից ավելին շարունակվում են բողոքի ցույցեր, որոնք վերաճում են անկարգությունների: 1956 թվականին Հորդանանի կառավարությունը ՄԱԿ-ի Մերձավոր Արեւելքում Պաղեստինի փախստականների օգնության եւ աշխատանքների գործակալության հետ համագործակցության շրջանակում որոշում էր կայացրել բնակեցնել 28 ընտանիք Երուսաղեմի Շեյխ Ջարախ թաղամասում, սակայն չէր տրամադրել նրանց սեփականության իրավունքի փաստաթղթեր:
