Հայաստանը չի բացառում, որ ՀՀ տարածք ներխուժած ադրբեջանցիների հարցով կգնա ՄԱԿ-ի անվտանգության խորհրդին դիմելու ճանապարհով, եթե պարզվի, որ ՀԱՊԿ-ի գործիքները կամ հայ-ռուսական միացյալ զորախմբի վերաբերյալ պայմանագրի գործիքները բավարար չեն այս իրավիճակն ու խնդիրը լուծելու համար: Այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ վարչապետի պաշտոնակատար Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ ԱԺ-ում  կառավարության անդամների հետ հարց ու պատասխանին՝ անդրադառնալով ԼՀԿ ղեկավար Էդմոն Մարուքյանի հարցին:

ՀՀ վարչապետի պաշտոնակատարը կրկին շեշտեց, որ Սև լճի տարածքում Ադրբեջանի ձեռնարկած գործողության նպատակը ռազմական բախում հրահրելն էր, և ինչպես նախկինում հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահը՝ ուժի կիրառմամբ միջանցք ստեղծելը: Այս գնահատականն է պատճառը, որ ՀՀ-ն դիմել է ՀԱՊԿ-ին:

«Այս պահի դրությամբ ՀԱՊԿ գործողությունների արագությունը մեզ չի բավարարում, բայց մենք շարունակելու ենք հետևողականորեն աշխատել այդ ուղղությամբ և մեր գործընկերների հետ իրավիճակի հետագա պարզաբանման վերաբերյալ աշխատանքներ իրականացնել, որովհետև, ես կարծում եմ, որ այն նախնական մտահաղացումը, որ ունի Ադրբեջանը, այս պահի դրությամբ ես չեզոքացված չեմ համարում: Պետք է այդ մտահաղացման վերաբերյալ մեր գործընկերները հստակ տեղեկացված լինեն և հստակ դիրքորոշում արտահայտեն»,-ասաց Փաշինյանը:

Փաշինյանը ուշադրություն հրավիրեց այն փաստի վրա, որ ՀԱՊԿ երկրները և կազմակերպությունը հստակ դիրքորոշում չեն արտահայտել, որ Ադրբեջանը պետք է զորքերը այդտեղից հետ քաշի: Ընդ որում, աշխատանքային մակարդակում այդ դիրքորոշումն արտահայտվում է, սակայն հրապարակային մակարդակում չի արտահայտվում: Ըստ Փաշինյանի՝ այդ հարցում պետք է հստակություն մտցվի: «Օրինակ, ասվում է, որ այդ հատվածում դեմարկացիա և դելիմիտացիա արված չէ: Նույն Ռուսաստանի և Ադրբեջանի սահմաններն ամբողջությամբ դեմարկացված և դելիմիտացված չեն: Ի՞նչ է սա նշանակում»,-ասաց Փաշինյանն ու հավելեց, որ պետք է այդ հարցում հստակություն մտցվի:

Իսկ ինչ վերաբերում է ՄԱԿ-ի անվտանգության խորհրդին դիմելուն՝ վարչապետի պաշտոնակատարն ասաց. «Այդ հարցը հենց առաջին օրերից էլ քննարկման առարկա եղել է, շարունակում է քննարկման առարկա լինել: Ուղղակի կան նրբություններ, որ նման որոշում կայացնելիս պետք է որոշակի կանխատեսելիության տեսադաշտ ունենալ: Նախապես նախապատրաստական աշխատանքներ իրականացնել: Եվ մենք երբեք չենք բացառել և չենք էլ բացառում, որ կգնանք այդ ճանապարհով, եթե պարզվի, որ ՀԱՊԿ-ի գործիքները կամ հայ-ռուսական միացյալ զորախմբի վերաբերյալ պայմանագրի գործիքները բավարար չեն այս իրավիճակն ու խնդրը լուծելու համար»:
