 ԱԺ արտահերթ նիստ հրավիրելու ընթացակարգեր կան, հատուկ հայտարարության տեքստ պետք է լինի, իսկ հիմա հիմա պարզ չի, թե այս փուլում ինչ հայտարարության տեքստ է ճիշտ դնել հիմքում, և ես կարծում եմ, որ նպատակահարմար չէ հիմա խորհրդարանում արտահերթ նիստ գումարել. Անվտանգության խորհրդի նիստը կարող է լինել այն ֆորմատը, որտեղ կարող ենք փակ նիստում փոքր խմբով խելք-խելքի տալ, տեսնել ինչ վիճակ է եւ ինչ անելիքներ ունենք: Այս մասին այսօր՝ մայիսի 27-ին, ԱԺ-ում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց ԱԺ «Լուսավոր Հայաստան» խմբակցության ղեկավար Էդմոն Մարուքյանը

«Բացի այդ, նաեւ մեկ այլ տեղեկություն կա, որ լինելու է ԱԺ պաշտպանության հանձնաժողովի արտահերթ նիստ, նաեւ Արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի ու էլի փակ ֆորմատով: Հետեւաբար, կարծում եմ՝ ԱԺ արտահերթ նիստ գումարելու անհրաժեշտությունը չկա: Մեզ օպերատիվ պետքա հասկանալ և ինֆորմացիա փոխանակել: Մեր խմբակցության պատգամավորներից մի խումբ արդեն Վարդենիսում են, տեղեկատվությունը ստանում ենք,  վերլուծում ենք, հասկանանք, թե ինչ ենք անում»,-ասաց նա:

Հարցին, թե այս իրավիճակում ի՞նչ պետք է անել հանգուցալուծման համար, պետք է սպասե՞նք ՀԱՊԿ-ի արձագանքը լինի, Ռուսաստանը միջամտի՞, Մարուքյանը պատասխանեց. «Դուք գիտեք, որ պաշտպանության նախարարը Մոսկվայում է եւ այս իրավիճակում կարծում եմ՝ հենց ԱԽ նիստ հրավիրելու առաջարկը շատ կարեւոր է, որ էնտեղ քննարկենք հարցը, թե ինչ պետք է անենք: Ես կարծում եմ, որ մեր ձեռքի տակ եղած բոլոր գործիքները պետք է օգտագործենք՝ ՀԱՊԿ-ի հետ կապված, ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ դիմելու հետ կապված: Ուղղակի տեղեկատվությունը օպերատիվ  փոխանակենք, լինենք սթափ եւ համախմբված արտաքին թշնամու հանդեպ, հասկանանք՝ որս ինչ անելիք ունենք, անենք:

 Քիչ առաջ իրավաբանները աշխատել եւ կազմել են մի փաստաթուղթ, ըստ որի ՀԱՊԿ-ի միջամտության համար նաեւ կարեւոր է, որ մենք ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ դիմենք, որպեսզի արձանագրենք, որ Հայաստանի նկատմամբ ագրեսիա է տեղի ունենում: Մենք այդ վերլուծությունը եւս հրապարակել ենք: Այսինքն մեր մասով օգնելու ինչ որ կա, անում ենք: Երբ կլինի ԱԽ նիստ, հուսով եմ մեր առաջարկը կընդունվի, եւ մեզ նույնպես կհրավիրեն, խելք-խելքի կտանք, տեսնենք ինչ անենք»:
