Այսօր նշվում է Ստեփանակերտի օրը: Այս մասին Ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում գրել է Ստեփանակերտի քաղաքապետ Դավիթ Սարգսյանը:

«Այսօր նշում ենք մեր քաղաքամայր Ստեփանակերտի օրը: Մեծ աշխարհի այս գողտրիկ անկյունում է բաբախում Արցախի սիրտը: Այստեղ ժամանակներ ու քաղաքակրթություններ են հատվում, տրամադրություններ ու երազանքներ են մեկտեղվում:

Ստեփանակերտը փոթորկալի անցյալ է ունեցել: Անցած երկու-երեք տասնամյակների ընթացքում, թվում է՝ արդեն թոթափում էինք 90-ականների դժնդակ օրերի հետքերը:

Մայրաքաղաքն էլ բռնել էր կայուն զարգացման ճանապարհը: Բայց վրա հասավ 2020թ-ի պատերազմը: Ազատամարտից հետո առաջին անգամ թիրախավորվեց նաև Ստեփանակերտը:

Ունեցանք անդառնալի կորուստներ, տեղահանված հազարավոր հայրենակիցներ: Նրանց մեծ մասը հանգրվանեց մայրաքաղաքում: Ու դա բնական է, որովհետև Ստեփանակերտը բոլոր արցախցիների տունն է...

Պատերազմը նոր մարտահրավերների առաջ կանգնեցրեց մեր քաղաքին՝ ավերածություններ, բնակֆոնդի ընդարձակում, ենթակառուցվածքների գերծանրաբեռնում:

Բայց ստեփանակերտցին սովոր չէ հանձվելու, նա անպայման մեջքը ուղղելու ու շենացնելու է իր մեծ օջախը: Սա է մեր նահատակների՝ մեզ թողած պատգամը: Սա պետք է լինի մեր տեսլականը՝ հանուն այն արյան, որով սրբացել է մեր հողը:

Ուրեմն, չենք երկնչում ու չենք հապաղում, այլ՝ ի գո՛րծ: Ուս ուսի, ձեռք ձեռքի կապրեցնենք մեր սրբություն Արցախն ու մեր սրտի քաղաք Ստեփանակերտը»,-ասված է քաղաքապետի գրառման մեջ:
