«Հանրապետություն» կուսակցության ղեկավար Արամ Սարգսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․ 

«Երբ մեր իշխանությունները պնդեցին, որ միջանցք չի լինելու և միայն ճանապարհ է լինելու՝ ՀՀ մաքսային անցակետերով, կանխատեսելի էր, որ նույնն էլ Ադրբեջանը փորձելու է կիրառել Լաչինի միջանցքի մասով: Բայց քանի որ Լաչինի դեպքում ավելի բարդ է լինելու՝ նոյեմբերի 9-ի փաստաթղթով պայմանավորված ու միջազգային ասպարեզում էլ լուրջ կհեղինակազրկի փաստաթուղթը ստորագրած երրորդ` ռուսական կողմին, ստիպված գործընթացը փորձարկեցին Գորիս-Կապան հատվածում։ Համոզված եմ, որ նույնը Լաչինում կրկնելը միայն ժամանակի հարց է, որից խուսափելու 2 տարբերակ ունենք միայն։

Առաջին՝ արցախահայության անվտանգության խնդրով դիմել ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ և Մինսկի խմբի եռանախագահողներին՝ պահանջելով հնարավորինս արագ վերսկսել բանակցությունները, նոր պատերազմը կանխելու նպատակով։

Համոզված եմ, որ, Մինսկի եռյակի առաջին քայլը լինելու է նախապես պայմանավորված միջազգային խաղաղարարների ապահովումը, որում, այս իրավիճակից ելնելով, բացառված չէ նաև ռուս խաղաղապահների գերակա մասնակցությունը ու նոր, երկարատև խաղաղության համաձայնագրի ստորագրումը, որը բավականին ծանր կլինի երկու կողմի համար էլ, բայց հստակ խաղի կանոններ կամրագրի, որոնք օրենքի ուժ կունենան և ամեն օր չեն խախտվի։

Երկրորդ՝ պատրաստվել լայնամասշտաբ պատերազմի, Հայաստանի անմիջական մասնակցությամբ և բոլոր զինատեսակների կիրառմամբ, որը կարող է զսպել Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվությունը և արժանապատիվ խաղաղության հնարավորություն ստեղծել, բայց դրա համար անհրաժեշտ է ոտքի հանել մեր տնտեսությունը, առաջադեմ սպառազինություն գնել զարգացած տեխնոլոգիական երկրներից, որովհետև այս ընթացքում բացի ՊՆ նախարարին նվիրած դաշույնից, այլ զինատեսակ ռուսները մեզ չեն տվել և չունեն, որ տան։

Բնականաբար նախընտրելի է առաջին տարբերակը և խաղաղություն ուզում ենք բոլորս, բայց դա չի նշանակում, որ երկրորդ տարբերակը մեր օրակարգի թիվ մեկ խնդիրը չպետք է լինի, և՝ հնարավոր է անտեսել։ Ներդաշնակ, բազմաբևեռ ու նախաձեռնողական արտաքին քաղաքականությամբ և բնական ու մարդկային ռեսուրսների ճիշտ օգտագործմամբ մենք ի զորու ենք ապահովել արժանապատիվ խաղաղություն և մեր տեղն ու կարևոր դերակատարությունը տարածաշրջանում։

Ու որպեսզի առաջին տարբերակին ևս մի քայլով մոտենանք, անհրաժեշտ է, որ վարչապետը դեկտեմբերին մեկնի ԱՄՆ՝ մասնակցելու ժողովրդավարության հարցերով համաժողովին, որքան էլ ճնշումներ լինեն Մոսկվայից: Այս իրավիճակում դա ոչ միայն մասնակցություն է ինչ-որ համաժողովի, այլև՝ Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանության ամրապնդման հայտ»:
