Վազգեն Մանուկյանը հանդես է եկել հայտարարությամբ, որում ասված է.

«Հարգելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

Երիտասարդությունը հանդես է եկել «Միտքս Արցախին» անունը կրող նախաձեռնությամբ (ֆլեշմոբ)՝ ծածանելով Արցախի դրոշը պատշգամբներում։

Արցախը մեր պատմական հայրենիքի մի մասն է՝ բնակեցված մեր հայրենակիցներով, որոնք հարյուրավոր տարիների ընթացքում կարողացել են պահպանել իրենց ինքնությունը, մշակույթը և փաստացի անկախությունը՝ նույնիսկ գտնվելով օտարների լծի տակ։

1988 թվականին մենք ձերբազատվել էինք ցեղասպանության բարդույթից, հզորացել ինչպես Հայաստանում, այնպես էլ Սփյուռքում և օգտվելով Խորհրդային միությունում ստեղծված բարենպաստ պայմաններից՝ ոտքի ելանք լուծելու մեր ազգային խնդիրներն ու իրագործելու մեր երազանքները՝ Արցախի հարցի լուծում, անկախ պետության ստեղծում, Ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչում, արդարության և ազատության հաստատում։

Մենք ուժեղ էինք և հաղթեցինք։

Ցավոք, մեր հաղթանակների արդյունքները հասանելի չեղան ողջ ժողովրդին, և հասարակության մի զգալի հատված օտարված մնաց այդ հաղթանակների պտուղներից։

Այժմ մենք գտնվում ենք մեր պատմության ամենաամոթալի և վտանգավոր ժամանակաշրջանում։ Տարածաշրջանում տեղի են ունենում և դեռ տեղի են ունենալու հսկայական փոփոխություններ։ Ցավոք, գտնվելով թույլ ու պարտված վիճակում, մենք այդ փոփոխություններից ոչ թե օգտվելու ենք, այլ կորցնելու, եթե չկարողանանք փոխել իրավիճակը։

Ես համոզված եմ, որ ամեն ինչ ուղղելի է և կախված է միայն ու միայն մեզանից։ Մենք նորից ուժ կգտնենք պաշտպանելու մեր պետությունը, ապահովելու մեր ժողովրդի հզորացումն ու բարգավաճումը, մեր արժանապատվությունը, Արցախի անվտանգությունն ու մեր միասնությունը արցախահայության մեր քույրերի ու եղբայրների հետ։

Այդ ճանապարհը սկսվում է առաջին քայլերից, և այդ քայլերից մեկն էլ «Միտքս Արցախին» նախաձեռնությունն է։

Արցախը եղել է մեր պայքարի խորհրդանիշը 1988-ին, այսօր էլ կարող է դառնալ մեր պայքարի խորհրդանիշը՝ այս նախաձեռնության շնորհիվ։

Ես, իմ ընտանիքը և հարյուրավոր մեր հայրենակիցներ արդեն միացել ենք «Միտքս Արցախին» նախաձեռնությանը և Արցախի դրոշը ամրացրել պատշգամբներին։

Կոչ եմ անում բոլոր մեր հայրենակիցներին՝ Հայրենիքում ու Սփյուռքում, միանալ այս նախաձեռնությանը և անկախ նրանից, թե երկրագնդի որ մասում եք գտնվում, Նոր տարին դիմավորել Արցախի դրոշը ծածանելով, և այդ տարին կդառնա հույսի ու վերելքի տարի։
