Հայաստանի ու Արցախի օրհասական վիճակի մասին քաղաքական, հանրային քննարկումներից զատ, երբեմն իրենց դիրքորոշումն են հայտնում նաև առանձին արվեստագետներ, մտավորականներ։ Ժողովրդի սպասելիքները նրանցից ավելի շատ են, թերևս, քան քաղաքական գործիչներից, որովհետև եթե վերջիններից որոշակի հիասթափություն կա վերջին շրջանում, ապա, մտավորականները, դեռ իրենց վճռորոշ ձայնը, ըստ էության, չեն արտահայտել։ Եվ գուցե հենց դա՞ է մեր անհաջողությունների նախընթաց շղթայի պատճառներից մեկը։

«Սովորաբար, երբ սրվում է քաղաքական, աշխարհաքաղաքական իրավիճակը՝ հասարակությունը հայացքը սևեռում է դեպի մտավորականությունը։ Բայց նախ պետք է հասկանալ՝ կոնկրետ ի՞նչ է նշանակում մտավորականը․ մարդիկ գրող, ստեղծագործող մտավորականների՞ն նկատի ունեն, թե՞ այսպես կոչված ընդհանուր ինտիլիգենցիային։ Նույն այդ քաղաքական գործիչների մեջ էլ կան մտավորականներ»,-ԼՈՒՐԵՐ․ com-ին ասաց Հայաստանի գրողների միության նախագահ Էդվարդ Միլիտոնյանը։

Նրա համոզմամբ, մտավորականության շերտերը խորն են ու դժվար է որոշակի սահմանում տալ։

«Մյուս կողմից, մտավորականները չեն կարող պատրաստի դեղատոմսեր առաջարկել։ Ժամանակին Թումանյանի կամ Իսահակյանի հոդվածները, ազգային, քաղաքական հրապարակումները մեծ ազդեցություն չեն ունեցել, որովհետև մտավորականը չունի դիվանագիտական, քաղաքական ու տեղեկատվական այն ահռելի շտեմարանը, որը բնորոշ է քաղաքական գործիչներին»։

ՀԳՄ ղեկավարը, այդուհանդերձ, իբրև դեղատոմս, նշեց ազգի բոլոր ուժերի, այդ թվում՝ քաղաքական, հասարակական գործիչների, մտավորականների լայն համախմբումը։

«Միայն համազգային համախմբման, ազգային ներուժի համադրման ու կենսագործման միջոցով կարելի է հաղթահարել բոլոր դժվարությունները, որոնք ծառացած են մեր երկրի ու ժողովրդի առջև»,-ամփոփեց անվանի գրողը։
