Our common objective is sustainable peace in the South Caucasus – Borrell had a phone conversation with Mirzoyan

EU’s foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, reflecting on his recent phone conversation with Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, emphasized that achieving peace in the South Caucasus is “our common objective.”

“Fruitful exchange with Ararat Mirzoyan on our intensive bilateral agenda, support to Armenia’s resilience and new EU Armenia Partnership Agenda.

“On regional issues, I reiterated support to Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process: our common objective is sustainable peace in the South Caucasus,” Borrell wrote on X social network.
